Impoose fines of littering in Nairobi a city doesn't just get clean by itself without laws Kenya is not Japan where people are more responsible.
Yes I support this
Environmental science should be taught in schools, from primary to university
They should start by providing dustbins and recycling center or landfills coz the biggest problem is where do we take our trash?
When impose them too as leaders
Kazi nzuri sana city must be clean 👍na barabara pia wazirekebishe
Barabara is another story.
Hapo sawa
Anytime we have to celebrate cleanliness shows how brainwashed and defeated we are .
You have to restart from somewhere and instill it in the mindset of new generations coming up
Man you're hating now!
But when they do this they should wear masks
Na gloves
Wekeni cabro and make the space under Expressway clean hiyo mchanga ya red jo
Nairobi will be on another level if we embrace this cleaning agenda. Good job our Governor. You will be remembered by this great legacy in history of the Nairobi City
Then the county should impose fines too for those found
A good start! Keep working on a sustainability , particularly empowering retailers to support their customers not to litter. Every shop or street should have at least a clean city champion supporting awareness. All the best green army and NCCG
May you also make available Clean Toilets, its also Jobs creations.
Why NBO only and not other parts of the country? All the Governers should do the same….FANYENI KAZI!!!
Because he is the governor of Nairobi not other countries lol
This is a great idea. Public Health Officers who have studied waste management would surely be able to contribute much more to this project in the long run.
Let them dress like people doing a cleaning job. For a start wear masks and gloves.
Good job Bw. Governor
What good job ...... Stop Corruption ..... Then create job opportunities for cleaner's .....
Governor amefufuka
Provide enough trash bins and prohibit unauthorized graffiti.
Cleaning with fire extinguishers hoses !!!
If they don't put the trash can, then they haven't done anything. When I returned from China, I searched for trash cans everywhere to put an empty water bottle, but there was no trash can, so I threw it down like everyone else. It was difficult to do, but I had no choice. So they should put the trash can away before cleaning
That's irresponsible of you! I'd rather carry it back home and dispose it correctly.
Eastleigh area is full of muddy water every corner you pass so how can we meet this collective responsibility
Good initiative
Please someone needs to tell the governor to build new sidewalks and side streets with red brick blocks like in the US and South Africa, because in addition to their aesthetic beauty they help to reduce the ambient temperature on the hottest days.
Are they going to clean the river? And then is this going to be just select neighborhoods? Like will they go Kibera?
there are hawkers in some part of Nairobi CBD, the reason for this is kanjo officers are taking bribes from the hawkers and letting them stay.
the problem is kanjo street officers. Deal with that first.
how can the city be cleaned on sunday come monday hawkers street families ve occupied the the whole of tomboya st littering
he says all that and there's no dust bins in the city. funny people.
Its just for show. Sadly! Its a cheap and low budget. We all know how these things go.......They need to hire the Chinese to fix the whole city 1st....Then later, Open Jobs to train people how to maintain/clean the city like they do in developed countries.
TEACH PEOPLE THE IMPORTANCE OF CLEANLINESS, NON LITTERING ATTITUDES.
Hi pr tu 2027 nyumbani plus kasongo
Safety: masks, gloves...
Organise: function with purpose.
Sustainability: maintain order.
SOS
The number of times i walk around Nairobi CBD looking for a dust bin, fighting the urge to drop the trash. Where did the dustbins go?
munje flats pipeline hawananga hata place ya kutupa takataka kila mtu ajitupie kwa barabara
First off, kudos to you all👏 Also, please encourage the use of safety gears...some are not wearing gloves and masks. Hope this is a sustainable venture even with change of administration in future. Anyway, it is our responsible as citizens to clean our environment. It hurts when I see people littering, and spitting in public.
Everyone one should make the society clean beginning form our door step especially in slums late every landlords put dustbins to their tenants and kanjo to collect after two days it will work
We need dustbin
My friend no Gachagua!,no sakaja!
Kigali Rwanda is a good example.
This is known
Why are the cleaners not putting on masks and protective gear. They will end up in hosi with hefty bills but good job. Keep it up
Operation okoa sem 😂😂. 2027 unaenda home
PR at it's best 😂😂😂
we cant be using the same drainage, streetscape and walkways that were built by the colonial govt, a modern well designed infrastructure package is needed
Fix the drainage system. Hii mambo when it rains theirs pools of water on the road is crazy.
Governor useless
Mbwa sugoi jnr osha barabara upate za kuslide hadi kwenye ulitoka kama ni burundi milaya
