my 2nd viewing of this video Maggie, loved this as I have now just moved up to join the clubs Monday night play and really wanted to improve my declarer play ….this is so useful, just heading out to our social mentored play this afternoon for 2hrs and will practice these techniques. Have used the ducking and the result was very pleasing.Very happy, I do like your clear instructions of how to play Bridge…😊from NZ
Not at all - thanks for asking! To duck a trick means to play a low card and lose the trick, rather than playing a higher card to win the trick. Sometimes it can be good to ‘duck’ a trick early on, saving your winning cards for later in the play. I hope this helps.
