what is a better choice. i5 13600kf + 6700xt. or i5 12400f + rx 6800 non xt. The second option is a bit cheaper by my calculations but not by much.
The core question is whether to have an overkill (but future proof) cpu now and upgrade gpu 4-5 years down the line or to have a better gpu and upgrade the cpu later.

1st option is great
have a stronger cpu, that way you can upgrade it down the line when you need it, and if you aren't mainly playing games, the cpu does almost all of the things, so go with a stronger cpu and upgrade the gpu later down the line!

There's no Comparison between 1650 and 2050 as 1650 is way better than 2050 cuz I've the the one which I recently bought and it gives better FPS on every game you mentioned on high-medium settings.
Forza Horizon 5 runs on 60-80 FPS on high settings on my Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 and Aspire comes with U type Processor which is weaker than the r5 5600H which comes with 1650 variant.
Just ignore Acer Aspire lol

nah mate you are missing out, people are buying aspire because of their battery and thing and light, very bland looking design, if you go take one of those in a meeting, the others won't even know that you are packing a gpu capable enough to run those excel sheets xDDD, so most of them want a good looking laptop that do intensive work but also game casually!! That is the basic point of getting one of these, also the cpu is a P series one, P series lands somewhere in between H and U, so yeah, its actually very good if you have the need for it! I would absolutely go for it but I did buy one in 2017 ideapad s540, because that thing looks really sleek! has an i7 8665u and a MX250 (25W) and it is an imported version of the laptop so the specs are a bit different! I love it as of now, really thing and gives out like 6 to 7 hours of backup if used judicially! I am planning to upgrade but waiting for the prices to drop for the 13th gen as soon as the 14th gen drops in!
