thats the bad thing about Attack on Titan as compared to other shows it really need to be watched multiple time to be fully understood, like i know bunch of people who watched this anime and till the end and they still didnt know the answer to this 14:30
I don't know how you can go through the whole show and not understand that. It is explained multiple times in season 4.

Yeah I also don’t understand what’s so hard to grasp. All the relevant info is actually provided in the anime.
And besides that I don’t know why it would be a bad thing having to watch something back for it to really click. That'd be a good thing in my book😅
If I’m to be honest, this comment is more puzzling to me than the entirety of AoT (just teasing 😛)
I consider a rewatch of AoT mandatory after it's all over.. to just see the context and know everything going on at every given moment and have a think about how things are impacted at a given time in the show early on, with what we know later.
