Great podcast, but just to correct your description of the roles on a tandem 14:30 ish. The Pilot is the rider who can see, therefore it is best if s/he is the one steering, usually from the front.

You mentioned Emily Watts. I'm not sure if you saw it, but she crashed on the first corner which would have massively impacted her TT performance.
