Kasia Niewadoma | Wins the Tour de France Femmes 2024
In episodes 121 and #5 of the Watch the Femmes series, we welcome Kasia Niewadoma on to the TPR Podcast.
Kasia and I discussed how she deals with internal pressures, especially after experiencing numerous near misses and podium finishes in recent years. We explored the changes Kasia made in her training that led to her successful 2024 season, culminating in a significant victory at Amstel Gold.
We also chat about the Tour de France Femmes and get her thoughts on the stage win versus GC podium dilemma, what the race may look like in 20 years, and what the race needs that it is missing now.
There is plenty in this episode that will help you get to know and love the star that is Kasia Niewadoma.

Average looking girl. Boring to listen to. Can’t ride 😅
Great interview. Jai's so down to earth
O’Connor; Jay and Grace Brown atm. Even harder now.😂 Jia, Jack, Bling, Kaden. And really hope Caleb gets the wins back. And great hopes for Sarah Gigante
As a cycliste fan forme Quebec , Micheal Matthieu as to be up there with all of his win in our GPs of Montréal and Québec
Was he pressing on was he
Yes he was
Caleb
Maybe!

“He’s going to slipstream me.” 😂 So cold, but she’s right.
Haha brutal but true 😜
Anna People blessing
Lachlan Morton actually
Thanks! Can it be mounted on front handlebars instead?
Yes. That is the fly 12 sport
The epic level music is tiring to listen to and there’s a big difference between the meanings of background and foreground. This sort of commentary ought to be getting that right, particularly when it’s being done post-prod.
Why does the spec block say "whatever proof"?
How do you get vids down you phone for editing?
Where are the Sample Videos ? This Video is shit
Wow awesome
lol 😂😂😂😂 that IPT comment 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Probably the best race footage I’ve ever seen. The cinematic footage is especially beautiful
Thanks Ian. Check out our 2024 video it dropped last night - search SEVEN GRAVEL RACE 2024
Active president ❤😂😂😂.🎉
Haha got to love him
Pleeeeeaaase ! Wash your hands. At 1:26 the dirt under those nails is 🤮
still no infrared light? why not? that would improve the camera performance during night alot. like basically all security cameras use those.
That’s interesting - do you do a lot of night riding?
@@thepressroomcyclingpodcast well in winter it gets pretty dark where i live and i do also ride during winter.
Nice cyclist
He wins

3:37 My my... Doc you instal sticky side velcro on your seatpost? You hate your pants? It's abrasive, and damage lycra. Nice idea @CYCLIQ, very nice job in making hostile design
I can’t say I’ve ever rubbed my legs on my seat post. The opposite side of the Velcro is actually a smooth vinyl/leather material so it won’t be abrasive at all. Just FYI
They missed an opportunity to fit a radar into the new unit 😢
I wonder how much size that would add to the unit? Or what drawbacks on battery or camera quality it would have…
That would just kill the battery or give us a bigger unit. Either they should have a camera and radar or camera and better lighting. Not all three. I would prefer they focus on the camera quality and ant+ features and then just get a dedicated radar.
You didn't even live test it!? What's the point of this video AT ALL!? Bro!
I only just got it 😂 what would you like to see?
Dude, its an unboxing video - at least it doesn't say "review" like so many videos, that aren't actually reviews.
@@technovelodos my man 🤝
if the math is mathing. 4k @ 30fps = 22gb per hour. Gonna need a bigger SD card :) I do wonder if it truly is 4k or "4k" and its really like 1080p.
Yes recommend getting a 128gb as a minimum!
loose cans everywhere, coupla ciggy butts by his shirt... hahaha
call it how I see it 😎
Unbelievable talent with a great attitude to perform at the highest levels 👏
Agreed! Cant wait to see him up there in a giro stage
Great film but why this background music???
I don’t know 😂
The goat of coaching….
The GOAT!!
Baaaaa
What is a "soona"? It is SAUNA.
Haha I secretly knew about it already :P
He seems unsure what his title should be. Head of e-bike / motor development maybe?
LOL
cool guy
Certainly is
O'Conner definitely comes to mind first
He’s up there!
🔥🔥
🤝🤝
Been waiting to see this collab!
Great episode
Thanks Troy x
That’s ridiculous guys sorry, he’s clearly the fastest speed wise atm. Philipsen is incredibly aerodynamic, did you see his sprint on the champs Elysees in 2022? He’s got incredible speed
See you in the sag wagon
You driving?
awesome
Very painful but good memories of trying to hang for as long as possible !!! 98 and 99.
An original. Do you still come down to Gino’s?
No unfortunately not was only in Perth for 15 months rode with the Glen Parker boys great bunch of lads.

Australia has some of the worlds most mindlessly fast group rides on some of the worlds most dangerous and cycling ill-suited roads…
Perth actually has very good roads suitable for cycling. The “river loop” is one of them, when ridden between 6-9am (like this and our weekly rides) it avoids busy roads and you’d be lucky to be held up or hold up a car on this route. Other states certainly have a few busier routes like Beach Rd - but hey, that’s the way it is!
Have you ever ridden The Coffee Grind during the Christmas period ?
No I haven’t - what’s it like?
Some Willie's being waved around there, good god!😂
For the record, the worlds hardest group ride is The Tour de France
Maybe over three weeks, but one day? Probably one of the classics
I bet you're fun at parties
LOL
No that’s a race. This isn’t
some stats while riding would be nice?
So good.
I can’t believe the number of punters out watching this!
Crazy right! Gets bigger every year. This year was probably x2
Anyone know the 1,2,3 finish?
🏆Ben Pepper, Jai Hindley, Luke Durbridge
