Rajiv is in conversation with two Hindu delegates from Ghana at the World Hindu Conference. In this small but very interesting video, the delegates trace the history of the establishment of Hinduism as a religion in Ghana and the positioning of Hindus in a largely Christian milieu. They describe the lonely existence for about 2000 families that follow Hinduism there and how it is difficult to assert their identity in the numerous spheres for example politics.

We must also get to know why many Hindus in South Africa are converting to Christianity
Now only less than 50% of the Indian origin people in South Africa are Hindus
This is a huge drop since 90% of the indentured labours who were taken to South Africa were Hindus
Many Pentecostal and other churches are deceiving and converting Hindus in South Africa
We need to raise the awareness among all Hindus living in Africa and across the World
I am Hindu from South Africa and one of the reasons for conversion is that hindu priests and scholars make Hinduism seem inaccessible to common people. They are very judgemental of differing points of view and they seem to want to perpetuate a caste system that prohibits social mobility. Christianity is just easier.

I first saw Rajiv ji around 2013..when his book itihas came.Since then you've come a long way sir..and you are doing a great job. Only us, hindus are humble yet audacious enough to accept other religions, while that's simply not the case other way round.
Maybe accepting every religion was a mistake,not a sign of greatness

So hindus in ghana face discrimination to according to laxmi. GoI needs to seriously invest in ghana hindus to safe guard their interests. Otherwise the larger christian majority will eat them up. In india itself we are having big time trouble with the missionaries. Imagine their plight. It's not enough to gloat "hinduism is this", "hinduism is that" in the comment section, which is all I see in the comment section. Listen to them first, learn their problems in the christian majority ghana and spread the word among your friends. But all I see is gloating about how "hinduism has spread to africa" etc., Laziness and complacence is all hindus are good at. Listen to them you buffoons. They are still a minority and are facing discrimination. That's the crucial point here.
We need to form a Hindu religion group ,a powerful group who is directly/ indirectly funded by Hindus to help Hindus all over the world and create a powerful political voice , we can't take help off RSS but rss can't b that party ,we need educated , progressive , political accepted people ,smart people who directly deal with any world government , must have acceptance and fund for lobbying

If Christian majority is a threat, Hinduism wouldn't have been spreading in the west. Stop being a anti- Christian or Muslim. It's only coz of their liberalism and freedom of religion, you are able to grow up your community converting people there. Don't falsely accuse any other religion.

Really great to know about our Hindu brothers and sisters of Ghana. We Indian Hindus should support our dharmik brothers from different countries. I met you at nithyananda Dhyanapeetam once during Mahasadashivoham! I approached you because I saw the video footage of your interview during Sadashivoham. And even though I didn't know much about you or even Hinduism and you were you paying a short visit to the Adheenam you were kind and welcoming to me. Only after returning to Germany I actually found out about your foundation and your mission! We are currently working on establishing a Hindu temple and organic farm with Goshala in Germany under our Guru's guidance! I am very pleased to see that the Seeds of Sanatana Dharma are sprouting all over the globe under all kinds of names!

Indian community of Ghana who have migrated to Ghana about 40 years back are practicing Hinduism wonderfully because all events and festivals are organised by the effluent Indian families who are members of the Indian Ghana Association (IGA). There are few Ghanaians who are following Hinduism through the ISKCON Ghana. But some Indians themselves discriminate against the Ghanaians by paying them very poorly in employment. So Christian missionaries have become very strong in Ghana. Also, these missionaries heavily preach against Hinduism calling it a satanic religion. I have heard this from my Ghanaian maid and driver. Also, they are being continuously fooled with the preaching "Jesus is coming "
