The best chase theme in the entire game. As a new player, I instantly gravitated toward Mike after hearing this. Even if he is low tier, hearing this each time you chase is more than worth it.
I think what makes it so much more terrifying is that all you actually hear from the killer himself is just heavy breathing and stomping. Ugh, that gets me too much, I almost want to disconnect and cry in a corner, but I'm not a bad team mate.
I was actually looking for the original movie soundtrack since I kinda wanna watch it after playing against Myers so many times (I'm not a fan of slasher movies, or horror in general) and it's amazing how they managed to pretty much recreate the original "The Shape Lurks" theme. Getting those rights must not have been easy.
Got to give props to the Dead by Daylight creators for actually taking the time to change the terror radius to this to pay homage to Halloween, instead of keeping the same old heartbeat sound. Same with the Nightmare and Huntress
