I picked one of these up from a guy who still had it in the box and was getting out of woodworking because of an accident. It was $150 off the list price and was perfect for the price. Currently it’s sitting on the floor and I do love the timer and it seems to run smoothly. I like leaving it to do it’s work after I leave the shop. One question to get an opinion on. I am planning on hanging it but I’ve seen some thoughts on air filters being left on the ground. The idea being why have an air filter that draws all the dust up past your face when you could leave it on the ground and it will draw the dust down and filter the dust that naturally is falling down. When ground space is available what are your thoughts on that? Thanks!
To be honest I never thought of that! I always think of it that I want it to get the air-born particles high up before they settle to head level. I don’t think it is pulling dust and air from the below your head all the way up to the ceiling. Thats a good question though. I’d love to see some research on that!
Good review - many thanks!
