But now everything is better, and I dare myself to learn piano from scratch. no matter how slow my progress, no matter how difficult it is to learn, no matter how busy I am in my job, I'll still make time to learn. not to prove to anybody, not to be high of it, just to prove to myself that what people need is just one thing, that one thing is might.. when you have might, you can do everything.. yes. Might + U.. thank you for being part of my inspiration, Theisther.
a passing piano student here. gonna help you learn faster. learn scales then chords then chord progressions/harmonic function and that will take you pretty far for basic knowledge. you can find some great music theory websites to help teach you stuff bc piano is a little more than just pressing keys in a certain order.

Me myself gave up on The piano due too not getting into it when I was a Child, so now that youre aspiring to learn the piano at 27 then I as a soon to be 23year old may also try learn during my freetime. :)

Theisther has famously the lightest and most controlled touch of any anime pianist on youtube. I love all of his emotional OST pieces because noone can really bring out the dynamics or feel of a piece like him

I suck at loud dymamics and fast passages because I bang on the piano, but I perform at my best during the dynamics in the quiet sections. I will admit if something is a midi edit, but my light emotional touch is NOT it. Next time, ask and I'll tell you.

But with a good VST, any light touch of the piano sounds blissful, with the correct reverb, attack etc. Tweaking the notes velocity post recording is what makes it so perfect, a midi recorder will most of the time never capture your intended "perfect" dynamics". A little post process touch up is always needed.
