I watched several videos looking for this information and you explained everything I was looking to understand. Having a broke fork makes showing its function very easy 😀👍

Sigh. I bought suspension forks cuz I needed longer forks. Never had them before, never felt a need for them. I just want to keep them from accidentally damaging the battery that will be hanging up there. Thank you for the concise and straight forward explanation.

What is the best oil to lubricate the top part of the fork ? Thanks.

Hi I have a cyrusher ranger
Ice taken top crown off of forks as there was gap in the spacers so had to add one.
Now I can't get the spring tube back in the correct position to fit back up.
    Can you help please

It would have been nice to see how you adjust the preload.

Most don’t or at least don’t work long. If you start adjusting them back and forth to TRY and get proper results they 99% time brake. If you take this knob off it’s only using 2 tiny pieces of plastic to spin the spring which is what brakes all the time. I’d suggest replacing them with air suspension forks that can be adjusted with air pressure. They are expensive but work way better and last longer.

They brake after how many time of turning the knob ? Like 2 3 times approx? Like with a brand new bike if I play with the knows to see what's the difference when riding they will brake in like 1 or 2 days ??
