“I deflected into that!” Yes, you did. That’s the problem, you dodged into a variably timed heavy with hyper armor on low startup. Stand still like a good boy and take the mixup like Ubisoft wants you to, it’s literally pointless to do anything else against Hito besides use your own offense and pray you make a good read if they press buttons. What you did in your last round against Hitokiri is how you play against her... you have to react to the swing animation and one of the reasons why she feels clunky against reactive players who know her animations.
By no means i like fighting Hitokiri but with enough practice she gets trivial.
Sucks because it's a reaction wall in a game that should be all about mix-ups

Nice video! I'm debating if I actually want to unlock every character, as cool looking as they all are and each coming from their own historical aspect. Thing is I've tried some of them out in the training and some of them personally just don't work for me. The ones that I feel work for me, I'll definitely stick to.

Although I thought this series was gonna be about playing the same character until you lose? As otherwise it sort of defeats the point imo, but maybe just play whoever you want to rather than picking a random character and ending up playing a character you don't enjoy.
Varden(and a bunch of other characters) cancels the animation after the appearance of the bash icon - the mechanics of the game. Valkyrie does the same thing - bullshit flicker. How it works? I can understand the dissatisfaction with flickers that cancel something that cannot be canceled, such as a light attack or a zone attack. But complaining about the flicker of a cancelled bash is something new.
Most of the video had some random salty complaint, I think he go tilted by picks and just went mind boom.
Not sure if I'm confused by the way you put this or not, but Valkyrie's bash is NOT feintable. You can cancel out of the stance preceding it, but there really isn't supposed to be a way to show the bash indicator and then cancel it.
That being said, Valkyrie's bash is, by all accounts, unreactable. So it's kind of pointless to complain about it flickering in the first place.

If I ever fight a hito I just light spam since I swear they can't be parried and have reduced damage when they get hyper armor. When ever I fight a hito I just shut ny brain off and spam. Not a thought in my head except beat hito.

Whats the PK combat emote effect you use?
PK has always felt sluggish to me, even before the guard changes. Just her slow moveset and paltry dodge distance (for an assassin) I guess. Lack of any real dodge recovery cancels too.
I can’t stand fighting hito anytime I’m in any match an see him I just go the other way lol

Pk has the best offence if your a top tier player utilising bleed mix up dodge and GB but if your a casual player like me you get stomped 😂😂😂😂 she just doesn't have normal offence like say warden or kensei or warlord where you can melt people in 4 maybe 5 hits... There's absolutely no way pkcan kill anyone in 4 or 5 hits and that's why she feels different. High level character that can read as well as put out offence and defence simultaneouslyare PK gods and that's how you know your good at for honour if you can play PK without being stomped

what is wrong with PK? aside her lowest assassin dmg in terms of burst, she has a decent pressure dmg but burst is a fuck all non existent. Not to mention she does not have way to combat hyper smash and loses trades due to it. Other than that, sure she is doing fine 🥲🔫
