Man I forgot about this gamemode. Idk what made me switch to playing dominion only but I still remember the sweet old days playing Brawls and Deathmatch all the time. I loved how people had this unwritten code in those modes back then. It looks like people still respect the duel rules here but allow people to revive eachother. This is like the S&D mode of For Honor.
@@NANA-lq5md this is mainly to do with difference in reputation I find that when playing on of my lower rep account it take far longer for matching making but when on Xbox it’s fairly quick. Maybe Ubisoft needs to look a changing match making as characters are far easier to learn these days. I appreciate there will be a large difference in the skill ceiling but at least newer players will be able to play more and subsequently become better at the game by playing with those better than themselves

I think giving her double crushing counter lights AND very generous superior block dodge attacks was a mistake. It makes button pressing and attacking win out a majority of the time. I'm a rep 70 nuxia, and while I'm use to my offense not being respected lol, there is literally no reason a Varangian needs to respect anyone's offense. Literally just press buttons and you'll probably counter them. Obviously it's a new hero and will take time to get use to, but what are everyone's thoughts so far fighting the hero?
Someone help. I looked in last night to purchase the Varangian Guard. She was only available for real money; not in-game currency. When will she be available to buy with steel?
I had this game since launch since the dominion kill animations and when there was only 3 factions but I think my name has been summoned now. Gotta try this game out now. May rage quit but why not 😂

The guard thing is very annoying but now it’s sort of freeing me to unload my unblockables into them and I’m guard breaking like crazy 😭 Literally against her I’m like turning myself into a 50/50 unblockable gb spammer but isssss alll good
There is reasons to that , first they alternate female hero and male hero since the warmonger and they couldnt make a hero with both genders since warmonger because of the COVID and lack of money . The next hero will maybe have two genders .
It's less that she's boring and more that she's really similar to others in the sense that she's like the 5th weapon and shield character with a bash. Like 8th at least if you count characters that don't have shields but do have bashes. People want something unique like an assassin. All that being said, I like the new hero because she's wearing actually good, historically accurate viking armor instead of the stupid ass shirtless with skulls or fur coats that all the other vikings wear.
Ngl main thing i dislike about the new hero is she is just too loud and vocal, at least for me. Maybe i just play too many silent characters, but i gotta mute my game cause i can hear her makin so much noise over my music
I think if she just had a little bit more offense she’d be great also just a me thing but I kinda wanted a typical Viking armor set like a before the whole guard thing maybe no helmet with some leather tunic type thing

They said the full block was new tech lol the full block is a copy paste of Conq full block just a different animation lol these devs I swear….. nothing new really just Aaferaa with out all the dodging she has Valks forward dodge bash lol just reused attacks

The voice actor sounds like it was done on a cheap microphone. And here voice acting goes far over the top of nessity and comes out very annoying. That aside, she is a neat character.
