Just stumbled across your channel and you bringing back a lot of memories for me. Must be 25 years since i messed with RC. I had the Heli and the plane and 3 cars and a truck. all i have left is my truck in a box for 20 years now. It's Nitro. they were such a pain back when i messed with them. Now i might have to pick a XRT up or it's like and now give myself something else to spend money on lol. Again! Thanks for your vids. Great watching you beat these trucks up!!! 👍👍
Just got my first non retail store rc car, a Traxxas Stampede 2wd, and absolutely LOVE IT! Soooo much fun! And love watching videos like this to see what I will get next year. Still need more experience with driving first because the 25mph Stampede is still kinda scary... for now lol
The RC that puts the biggest smile on your face is what you should get! I guess the same can be said about the channel. Seeing that you finally got an XRT to test just put a goofy smile on my face! 🤪

I completely understand people not getting it until they see a video of yours. The way you drive then shows me how good the car is and I won’t buy a car unless it does good in one of your vids.

Hey Kev, so excited to see you finally got the XRT! I picked one up the day they was released here in the states and love it! A couple things I have done to the stock setup is tighten the shock springs all the way down to reduce chasis slap and put on a set of X-Maxx tires to give it better flight control. It will do a back flip on stock gearing and the X-Maxx tires. Just FYI I absolutely love your channel and can't wait to see you put the XRT through the paces, Kev style!! Keep up the great work!

It fantastic video, Kev. The big goofy smile on your face tells it all. lol. Even though I don't like my XRT as much as my XMAX I can appreciate your smile and what you have been bringing to this hobby. Pure Joy! I'm still on the bench with my XRT, I have broken the wing mount, and front arm pin carriers and the body is trashed, wish I would have done the shoe goo and mesh tape reinforcement to it. Time will tell if it wi be the big dog in my shop, lol

Also Kev I I seen on a video that vitavon has a solid aluminum plate that has the hinge pin holders attached that goes under the bottom skids it takes the slop out of the arms and looks like it might help save the bulkheads on the xrt and xmaxx and keeping it light weight and flex where it needs it! Again thanks for putting in the hard work and time most of all having a good time with friends and not being one sided over toys love watching you clare and eien your guys friendship and love for the hobby is what it's about I shared your videos with a few friends in hopes to get a few friends around to enjoy are toys and what the hobby is all about! Awesome stuff man 🔥🔥💯

Awesome stuff Kev 😱. Been impressed overall with the XRT, but the bell crank is doomed. Broke 6 in 4 runs. Weakest part of the truck next to the wingmount support. Have a spare ready 🍻

I’ve been watching this man since he had under 100k. And since then, I have come to believe one thing. Listen to what he says. He puts these small machines through the paces and has enough experience with the hobby, and practically every surface RC on the market. Tells it like it is, no BS. He lets the RC’s do the talking and shows you evidence of why he says what he says. Not many creators out there that stand the test of time as Kevin does. Nice work 💪🏻💪🏻

Finally Kev got a one! I love mine already after two runs. I did put a MMX8S, bigger tires and my own TX and RX. The XRT is very durable right out of the box.

Traxxas usually sets up their basher RCs for wheelies not turning. I usually swap differentials front-to-rear/rear-to-front; occasionally I will swap ends on the springs too (not the shocks). My x-maxx and mini-maxx rarely tip over (no WideMaxx kit required).

The Traxxas XRT reminds me of a bigger and stronger Traxxas Erevo 2.0. The XRT looks sick and I think it is easily the best RC car released in 2022xand could well be one of the best RC's out there period.

Kev is my favorite UA-camr, and Max seems poised to continue Kev's traditions of destroying his trucks for our entertainment. Cm'on Max, you will get a huge fanbase right out of the gate. Kev has influenced nearly all of my RC purchases (I have a Gen8 Axe that I have not seen Kev run), most all of my others, X-Maxx, TRX4, etc... have all been directly influenced by Kev.

I have seen more than 20 videos from different youtube channels for XRT. I was desperately waiting for this video only!!! Great job KEVIN!!! After 32 years of buying my first r/c nitro car (Kyosho Ford RS-200) you made me restore it again and make it work! But now it is time for buying the second one... XRT or X-MAXX? I still don't know what to choose...
I'm a Kyosho guy also but the Traxxas RCs have really come up. I'm going with an X-Maxx instead of the XRT just for aesthetics. I'm not into the frogger looking RCs
Thank you Kev for showing us the all new toy 🥰..i never bothered to run stock gear, even with 46/22 ( incl gearing ) its a bit slow on rotation, but you alr this by the bf close ti claires car ❤️. Bellcrank are a pure 😢😢..know rich duper smoked a handfull in a session or 2..i broke 2 in 2 sessions, less then total 3min driving..freezing helps, but when you SEE the design......

Been waiting for this since I found out about the XRT
For me, the king of RC innovation (at least from a mainstream RC company) will always be the Traxxas Revo platform. Nothing else quite like it. Quite durable, fast as it needs to be, fun for bashing.
I'm a big fan of all of your videos kev, but this big group of bashing is bar far the most fun to watch! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I believe I would just run mine without the rear wing, seems to be the only weak point, cant wait to get one one day

Just a bigger Erevo lol. Crazy getting older I remember when traxxas had 3 cars in their line up haha. It all started with a jato and a revo. Then slash 2wd. 4wd then erevo so on so forth.
