- Last year, a selfless nurse stopped her car to help motorcyclists who got in a terrible accident. Fast forward a year later, and they're thanking her - by bringing the whole gang to her daughter's lemonade stand.

Bikers in my area that roam about at night steal things from everyone lmfao. When I was younger, they've stolen me and my brother's new shoes. Besides, I caught one of them stealing my mom's bike at 3 in the morning as a late-night-sleeper kid. They've stolen 3 bikes from my mom already. We had to chain them and they'd still find a way to break open them after breaking the latch of our front gate*. Stealing is one issue, then the noise pollution's another. Plus, conditions at a highway late at night with them breaking the laws of traffic and speeding so fast that cause us careful, responsible drivers have to watch out for THEM and not the basic laws on the road and I witness this every single day. Change my mind.

so in most cases means shes been helpfull to members of the club or to there members. i knew a 45 year old woman who had guys coming left right and center . no one messed with her

While to get into the semantics of it would require more knowledge about the group itself. -Most- don’t care about the distinction. Or will even call themselves a MC gang just cause it sounds cooler.
Yes, a motorcycle club sounds much better then a motorcycle gang. The word gang means they are gangsters. Which they are not.
If you watched Impractical Jokers, one of rhe bikers said to the joker that they are not a gang. They are a club specialize on helping people.
I feel like everyone associates bikers with criminals and being big and wearing leather, etc means ur mean and tough and break the law so in that stereotype “gang” fits. But yes I agree club sounds better. Because most bikers aren’t actually criminals it’s just yet another stereotype we’ve been spoonfed to believe

This brought me to tears. This shows that bikers are not bad people they have a heart. If people would just respect all bikers they would know that. Bikers are humans as well just like everybody else. All they are asking for is respect. Bikers will come to help a little child when they are done wrong. I’m not a biker but i respect them. God bless them.

I believe 80% are just like the average joe trying to make a living. 10% are exceptional human beings who'd give you the shirt (tho not the colors) on their backs if you needed them. and then, alas, you get the last 10%. The ones who make news in a negative way. the ones who give ALL bikers a bad name. the ones who turned once respected motorcycle clubs into biker gangs. when you spot a diamond patch you know what i'm talking about. so it's kinda refreshing to see the top 10% in action instead the bottom feeders.
This is what a real community looks like. Take notes.
When my dad was a kid, his house burned down. He was living in philly with his four younger siblings and parents. Everyone had to be separated because there was nowhere to house them all.... but apparently a local biker gang put in a few favors and got them a place to stay. My dad said they would drive by the house here and there to check on them.
There was nothing in it for them. But they did it anyway.
Sometimes the toughest looking people have the biggest hearts.

My dad is a biker and the rides he loves the most are the ones where they are coming together to show support or appreciation or for a charity. I’d trust a random biker more than most strange men.

She helped them in time of need. They adopted her and her daughter in return. Great to see there still is respect.
On Dec 22 2015 there was a bad wreck here in south La. where 5 people lost there lives one of which was my 12 year old little boy name Chase he lasted till 6:30am Christmas morning Chase was an organ donor and 5 people got their lives back because my little boy lost his. It didn't take long for the word to spread through out the biker community and to my surprise when we pulled up at the funeral home on Jan. 2 2016 the bikers had started to gather by the time they all got there the count was 358 bikes and more patches than I could count. My little boys last ride was something to be seen and at the cemetery the bikers became his pallbearers. I will forever be grateful for what the biker community did for my little boy

@@Royalty_girlie: I mean, the original comment is wrong, but only because they said she "wasn't JUST doing her job". She wasn't doing her job at all. She wasn't on the clock, or on hospital time, or under direction from a doctor. A nurse's employment contract doesn't stipulate that she's expected to stop at every accident she drives past during her personal time just in case there are injuries there that she could potentially help treat.
Most people would have kept driving, regardless of what their profession is, because "it's not my problem".

My wife and I both ride and she's a nurse also. Every time we see an accident before emergency rescuers are there she makes me go to it to see if there's anything she can help with. She makes me proud! Especially now with everything going on these days!!

My uncle is in a biker club and is one of the greatest men I’ve ever known! They may look all touch and mean, but they’re mostly not!

You should be so proud of your Grandfather. This was my daughters lemonade stand, and I know she has an army supporting her and behind her for the rest of her life. It was like they took her as their own forever as a thank you that day..more than I ever deserved. They are family.

Motorcycle clubs arrange a lot of great thins. On my page i have several rides i attended to benefit kids at our local childrens hospital, toy drives for service members families who needed some help with gifts around christmas and a few others. Always a great time and a great cause. Respect to these guys for making a difference and to the mom for saving lives

Yes very true my uncle's mother was in a abusive relationship and one night the guy started beating my uncle & his mom & my uncle was only a kid at the time ran in to the nearby bar & told a group of bikers that his mother's boyfriend was beating up him & his mother in the parking lot & the bikers immediately sat up came out the bar & chased that scumbag out of town!...

She did more than her job, he needed someone and she showed compassion for a complete stranger.
Being a nurse is more than just a job... It is a calling. They don't get NEARLY as much love as they should.

Bikers are some of the coolest people I've ever met. I thought they were superheroes when I was a kid. This is a fantastic story.
Not the ones I met, all had a little man syndrome attitude
i had 2 biker friends, scariest looking guys from their outward appearance.. then you'd talk to them.. nicest guys in the world. they got me into computers and taught me everything before i was 15. spider taught me computers.. osiris taught me how to use software. i had an older brother, and i was being bullied by these 2 guys in high school all the time.. my brother never did anything about.. so spider caught wind of it. spider went down and basically not gonna say what happened, but he struck fear into these 2. i did end up being bullied by another guy later in high school, which i dropped out.. but this kid actually ended up graduating 2 years later and killing my boss's best friends brother on xmas in 1999. i remember the guy coming into my boss's business and in tears looking for his brother. never told anyone about my other bully.. because i realized something was entirely wrong with him and knew something bad would occur.. so i just bit the bullet and quit school.

Bikers get a bad rap, most of them are incredible people. I was blessed by a group who took me in off the street when I was 15 years old. They treated me with kindness and more love than I ever got at home. They taught me values and gave me a family with no questions. I have great respect for the men and women who chose to put something exciting between their legs. Thanks guys and ladies.

Bikers are great. My husband was a former member of a group when he lived in Texas. I met him in Massachusetts and no longer a member and when he died in 2001 they would rev their engines in tribute to him when they passed the house. It meant so much to me and my then 6 yr old son. They also had a benefit to help us out. I will always have a special place in my heart. For that family, those bikers will be there for you should you ever need them. They may seem scary to some, but they also have big loving hearts. You're a very special family with very special biker friends. Enjoy

my uncle died of cancer but he loved to ride motorcycles. he was so sweet. bikers may look tough but they have kind hearts.

When I was growing up in the 90s my karate instructor was part of a biker gang. He was one of the coolest and most noble men I've ever met in my life and I had (and still have) tremendous respect for him.

I heard that there’s a motorcycle gang that helps women & children escape domestic marriages. ✨💖✨It was a lovely way to say thank you to the family who stopped and helped. Most bikers aren’t the degenerate criminals folks seem to think. My husband and I retired to a tiny rural town in a beautiful area. The drive here is beautiful. So when the weather turns nice, we get groups of bikers who take the ride out for breakfast or lunch. It’s always a treat to talk to them. “You boys aren’t here to rabble-rouse, are you?” I put on my stern, cranky old lady face. They’re usually a bunch of old farts, like me. We have a good laugh. We’ve had ‘em all: Doctors, retired law enforcement and military veterans, lawyers... They come from all kinds of professions and finally have the time to ride. Most folks that ride are just regular folks, who want to experience the open road and feel the wind in their face. I’m a retired library administrator, and my favorite color is chrome. Sadly, I am unable to ride due to health reasons.
