Think this guy may be misremembering the original - the dialogue and story system in Hades was extremely ambitious and superbly executed, and having watched all 3 hours of Supergiant's stream of this, there's nothing that suggests it's been ramped up to the degree suggested by the hyperbole here. Moreover, the original was unabashedly Roguelite - how are those elements more 'baked in' here?

Also, you totally misdescribed how that new Poseidon boon works. The point is the closest enemy doesn't get knocked back.
And yes, it's Darren Korb composing. He's the in-house composer, he's scored every single Supergiant game.
