This is how every guitar tutorial should go every time With the edited chords so you know how to play them and Always showing how the strumming/finger picking goes
Can you make a more advanced version of this tutorial? I really love the Intro for this song the way you teached it!! Still watching your videos after 4 years
Just wanted to thank you for this tutorial. I've looked for days for a good one and ended up trying to learn from the live perfomance (wich didn't end up very well). I can finally play it straight now. Thanks.
Hi Kevin, I just wanted to say that you explain very well this song and I'm also a huge fan of Jason as you. When are you doing more Jason's tutorials?
+Héctor Gorena Hi Héctor, Thanks for the kind words. I'm planning to do a video on "after an afternoon" soon, and maybe a fingerpicking version of "you and i both". I can't make any promises right now but do you have any requests?
+Héctor Gorena Hey, I made a tutorial for the intro part of "Be Honest" to start with. I'll try to make another for the rest of the song soon. Sorry my explaining is all over the place but let me know what you think! Hope it helps! ua-cam.com/video/GqAPWryYuA4/v-deo.html
+gio zurc Hey, thanks for the comment! I'm planning on answering to request as much as I can but it might take some time. I already can play "lucky" but I'll try and bring it to tutorial level. I'll let you know when it's done!
I'm a beginner and I understand your tutorials very easy, please make moooore, looking forward to learning from you :) Do your besttt!!!!!! And would you mind doing a tutorial of "the woman I love" by Jason Mraz???? pretty pleeeeasee :))))))))
1:59 how to train this way to build B chord? im using 3 different fingers for D, G and B strings while doing this chord and it feels like this is not okay
Hi Kelvin - really liking the vids! I have a question about the B7 chord used in the Outro (on your other video for this song). I can't quite catch it, but are you muting the 3rd string with your ring finger when you play that chord? (24242X or 24X42X?). Thank you for the help
idk if I'm just strumming wrong, but when I do the strumming pattern you've shown us, it doesn't make that sound? Any tips on what I might be doing wrong? -Thanks
+geeayecee hey, thanks for the comment. I can't say for sure cuz I haven't seen you play, but maybe it sounds different because you're using a steel string guitar? The guitar I use in this video is a nylon string. If thats not the case, try experimenting with the strumming. It doesn't have to be exactly how I play it. For example, where I say pick the first second and third string, try only the first or just the first and the second. The same goes for the part with the third fourth and fifth. Sorry I couldn't give you a more precise answer. Let me know how it goes!
+Kevin's Guitar Tutorials yeah mine is steel string but I thought at least mine would sound similar to yours, but it just doesn't lol, I got the intro down cause of your video, I just needed to learn how to play the actual song but it's giving me trouble, thanks for the reply though, like you said I just need to keep experimenting :-)
Great tutorial. Your chord illustrations seem to be upside down and backwards to me though. Shouldn't the nut be on the rh side or the illustration should be vertical with the nut on top and Low E on the lh side?

Hello I love this video but you made the verse very easy, I'd love to learn your version of it instead of the easier one

Asus2 in fret 5 isnt it just a regular Amaj?
For Asus2, why not just do Am without the pinky?
"Kevin how come if can use Abm instead of G#m7 or Gbm instead of F#m7?
Just a note, a lot of the chords are easier to hit if you use your thumb
Also....is there any chance you have a strumming pattern that is not "easier for beginners?" I'd like to see that one
I don't like it
