It’s very helpful to watch the long form videos for those of us that are less experienced at crochet. Much appreciated!
Glad it was helpful!
I'm a visual crocheter and love long form video and also it's nice to crochet along. Thank you Ashlea 💕🧶🧶🧶
Agreed I’m self taught this was awesome and i also love crochet alongs❤❤❤❤
Thank you for every detail in creating this Microwave Bowl Crochet Cozy👍🏾! I could almost crochet right along with you 🧶🪡✂️
Wonderful!
this is great, doing full video, and up close shots, keep it up, your channel is superb
Thanks so much for the tutorial and the free pattern on your website. And I love long form with timestamps. I’m a visual learner and I like to crochet along.
Glad it was helpful!
I really enjoyed the long form video. I like the way you did the video from start to finish. Thank you so much!😊
Glad you liked it!!
I love this method. Many times I need help! I understand impossible tasks of doing all. But this is really great. Thank you! Jude.
I love the long form
I'm usually not a fan of very long videos, but when it comes to crochet it's a good thing 👍 and you can always jump forward to the parts you don't understand if you don't want to watch all of it !😊
Yes! Thank you!
Thank you for letting us watch the whole procedure. First time, really enjoyed
Glad you enjoyed it!
YES, YES, YES to longer videos! Sometimes with shorter videos, the part I need to see gets edited out. (Not necessarily with your tutorials, just in general.) P.S. We love our cozys!
Great pattern and loved the video as well!! Always sooooo helpful to "see" how it's done! Thanks Ashlea!!
Glad it was helpful!
Appreciate how you did this video. Very helpful for beginners to see exactly how to do each stitch. Thank you. Not able to access your manuel.
I like the long format, and we can always fast forward when we don't need to see every stitch. Our let out play while we stitch.
I love your colors. I kept thinking it looks like sweet corn or buttered popcorn. I used a muted pink and a light tan color and it looks like strawberry and chocolate ice cream. I might be hungry 😅
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Great video, and awesome instruction. I made my very 1st bowl cozy with no issues.
Wonderful!
Thank you for this pattern. Easy and very quick to work up.
Love having you do every stitch ❤
I just completed my first bowl holder following your wonderful and easy pattern you provided! Thank you for your video tutorial which really got me interested in making some of these for gifts! It actually is larger than I thought it would be which will hold a small to medium casserole dish as well.
So glad I found your channel❤
Wonderful!
Very much enjoyed the video. It fascinates me watching you crochet. Thank you.
New subscriber. I do love the whole video, as a beginner crochet person I find it easier to follow and as you have said you can always fast forward. Looking forward to try this pattern.
I prefer the long video myself, and you were very easy to follow.
Awesome, thank you!
Great video. I've seen a lot of people have commented that they dont want long form videos, and others that do. Perhaps you can add chapters at the beginning of every round, that way anyone who wants to skip ahead can do so.
Great suggestion!
Ashley this was a fun video to follow, I wasn't planning a dish cozy but I couldn't resist. Super great idea.
Yay! Thank you!
I love this pattern. (And the format) I look forward to giving this a try. Thank you
Wonderful!
Enjoyed your video, thank-you for sharing.
Enjoyed the lesson. Wondering how to increase for larger bowls. Look forward to your response.
Hello! You would simply continue the increase rounds before starting the "corner" rounds.
Thank you so much! If I use cotton yarn, can the cozy be put in the microwave when heating my bowl of soup?
Long form. As you said you can skip as you want. I don't think I would have done the "13 stitches" correctly without the video. Well done, thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for an easy to follow tutorial. Just wondering how you would adjust the size for bigger bowls. Also, could you work out a pattern for a square and rectangular bowls please. Watching from Kyogle, Australia 🇦🇺 😊
Hi! If just needing slightly bigger, then the easiest option would be to just go up a hook size...if you need bigger than that, then you could add another row if increasing before starting the corners...so you would have 56 sts instead of 48 and you would need to remember to add 2 to the hdc runs between the corners.
@HeartHookHome Oh thank you. I'll give that a go. 😊
Is there a printable of the direction like what your showing here? I used the link provided here and it takes me to a page with photos and directions intermingled without a portable option link there.?
Yes, sorry I just added that to the portion just above the "materials" in the post. Thanks for pointing that out!
Thanks for this pattern but I could not print it, it was 33 pages!
If made larger this would be good for topping bowls to proof bread dough❣️
I have this pattern available as printable pdf on Ravelry for a small fee here: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/microwave-bowl-cozy-5
Do you have to use cotton base yarn, or can you use an acrylic base?
Technically, you can use an acrylic, but DO NOT put it in the microwave!!
Would peaches and cream be an equivalent size cotton yarn? I’m unsure if I still need to do double strand
Yes, Peaches and Cream is also a worsted/#4 weight yarn, so you will still need to double strand.
Where can I find a printer friendly pattern for this cozy. I followed your link but couldn’t find a print pattern. Thanks in advance 😊
Got the links added to the blog post! Glad you love the pattern.
Love your video but I can't seem to print the pattern directions. Why
The pattern is free on my blog only...you can get a printable pdf on Ravelry for a small fee here: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/microwave-bowl-cozy-5
No I really don't like the whole video. I like stopping and starting.
You can easily do stop and go by pressing the pause button. You can also fast forward to end of each row..
