40:37 - No, Captain America is in charge because he's a good battlefield commander due to his years of military combat experience. This is why in the comics, he is often commanding teams of heroes who are much more powerful than himself.
Let's be fair. Thor too. Consider that Thor was probably the battle commander for all the world's protected by Asgard. But I actually think it's the difference in types of skill sets. Cap dealt with the tesseract before AND world war 2. But each of them are usually isolated fighters except for Cap. Banner and Stark, both geniuses, both individuals who spent time in college/university in the sciences which is why I think that Hulk saved Iron Man at the end. It's his friend with a unique issue he's made into his strength, and it's why I think they're friends. Sadly, same type of thing goes for Hawkeye and Romanoff. Thor for all that he isn't human, he connects to all of them in the fight for a cause, plus, we are "Midgard", a planet protected by Asgard, not that we'd remember because it had been so long since they had visited.
I always wonder whether people realize that when Banner is provoked into becoming the Hulk, he can’t think or control him. That’s why he turns on his friends. But, when he becomes the Hulk willingly and accept the Other Guy, he can control the Hulk much more and can even strategize and work in a team.

why cap’s shield didn’t break: cap’s shield is unique, in that, it’s made from an alloy of vibranium, steel and proto-adamantium which has never been duplicated. that makes the shield so tough that not even wolverine's claws could cut through it, and it's all thanks to the mystery metal from wakanda. wakanda forever.
@@bennyblanco3174 he’s tried before and failed. adamantium cannot cut through the shield because the shield is made of the original metal that was reverse engineered to create adamantium alloyed with vibranium to produce a metal that is stronger than true adamantium.

Leo! Love ya! I grew up in the rural South on a farm. Let's just say we didn't get to town everyday. My Mother worked there though, and to keep us entertained we had a lot of toys, games, and a thousand comic books. The Avengers were my favorite. Was beyond happy when this movie came out. I get to enjoy it again with you.
Yo! All these many years later and there aren't too many things funnier than Loki catching the business from Hulk. When he paused and looked at him and was like, "nope he still alive" and started slamming him again.... I could watch that scene over and over all day!
One thing you've always got to take into consideration; Hawkeye and Black Widow are the only 'normal' humans on the (mcu) original Avengers, no super tec, genetically altered, being a literal god... Just highly skilled humans trying their best, but who are still vunerable.
Hey Leo, in that last end credit scene, they're eating at that shawarma place Tony mentioned while lying on the ground after the Hulk shouted him awake. To American tastes, it's kind of like a gyro, although with different seasonings and with some ingredients in one but not the other. Thinly-sliced seasoned meats in a flatbread or pita, veggies, cheeses. Look up a shawrama place near you. Tasty.
Rip to my grandpa he took me to see this when i was 9 and we watched all the movies together. He died before endgame came out and it broke my heart going to see it without him. I will always cherish those moments these movies have brought to me.

To answer your question about Cap being in charge, he’s the “leader” in the sense that he’s a master tactician while simultaneously acting as the heart of the team since he’s so righteous and always focused on the mission. Tony is kind of a co-leader but he’s more the money man, lol. As you’ll see as the movies go on, Cap is just a natural leader that the other heroes can easily rally behind
@@lelouchvibritannia4028 you’re right, he’s not a tactician. he is THE tactician. cap is literally always the one calling out the strategies in nearly every serious battle scene. most longtime marvel fans would say that the only greater tactician is maybe cyclops, but he doesn’t exist yet in the MCU so……
It's not because Cap's the First Avenger that he's in charge. It's because he's the only one with real military leadership and tactical skills. Tony was never really a leader - even when he was CEO of Stark Industries, he was the engineer/inventor. It was really Stane who ran the business - and he was totally corrupt, so in IM2, he turns the business leadership side over to Pepper. Romanov and Barton were always more about the solo tactics than the team effort. Thor is a good guy, but he didn't quite have the command skills to be King of Asgard - at least not yet. And Hulk, well, he's more of a smasher than a leader.
@@Cream-2128 Fair point. Although Thor's wars were more "medieval-style". He's a "classical" warrior, rather than a captain or a battle commander. His tactics are largely just charge in and swing the hammer.
@@PhilBagels I will say Thor wars were a little more high stakes. Every Asgardian is a lot stronger than any human and the threats they face. Asgardians and frost giants all are insanely strong let alone the other realms out there. The serum enhanced cap mind though so he has a photographic memory and it increased his battle tactics.
Mjolnir (thors hammer) is one of the strongest weapons in marvel comics , it smashed planets befor and Thor one time threw the hammer to the edge of the universe and back in less than 1 minute

7:45 We need you to be in charge if the world's ever in danger! Came up with the only logical plan in a second.🤣
Man this dude is the embodiment of internet explorer, reacting after 10 years 😭💛
why cap’s shield didn’t break: cap’s shield is unique, in that, it’s made from an alloy of vibranium, steel and proto-adamantium which has never been duplicated. that makes the shield so tough that not even wolverine's claws could cut through it, and it's all thanks to the mystery metal from wakanda. wakanda forever.
False..Wolverine would slice that shield....
Wakanda forever!!!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 I can't WAIT for Leo to get to "Black Panther"!!!!!! It's my absolute FAVORITE MCU Universe movie ever 😍 ❤ 🙌 💖 💕
@@bennyblanco3174 he’s tried before and failed. adamantium cannot cut through the shield because the shield is made of the original metal that was reverse engineered to create adamantium alloyed with vibranium to produce a metal that is stronger than true adamantium.
That's in the comics. In the MCU the shield is made of pure Vibranium. They didn't have the rights to Adamantium back then.
@@kevinbell5674 yes good point, my bad.
A lot of people forgot that the guy that plays 'Cap" Was also in the Fantastic Four as the Torch. Will be interesting with the new phase of marvel with the multiverse and such if they were ever to meet.
I can’t tell you how fun this is to rewatch with someone as delightful as you!! Highlight of my day!!!!!! Couldn’t wait for this!! And I can’t wait for Thor Ragnorok which is prob my fav bc of director Taika Waititi!!! So funny!! And the amazing ending! Anywho I had a blast! Thank u! See ya next time!
I really love Thor Ragnarok too! And I love my favorite Kiwi, Taita Waititi! 💜
I don’t care how many times I see this movie it never gets old one of my favorite part is when hulk tosses Luki around like a ragdoll
Man I was rockin wit you back when you had 13k subs. You've come a long way. Great job 💪
32:04 That "NOOOooo" was so perfectly timed! XD
And to believe that this was just the end of the beginning
That Loki scene never gets old….❤️❤️
There is no scene with Loki that ever does

Gone Girl. PRIMAL Fear
I'm 1000% with you Leo, i'm team ironman for life! I'd follow him without question as tony stark or otherwise. The swag, gadgets, arrogance and money- he's got the total package!
This was a very entertaining reaction!
I needed this today, Leo. Thank you. Had covid last week and my depression has been kicking my ass, but watching this with you made me feel better than I have in two weeks. Keep it up, brother. 💙🤘
Favorite Leo lines from this so far:
*Loki: "I said, KNEEL!"
*Mr. Video: "Aawright n**ga, damn"
*Mr. Video: "Dang, Hulk treated Loki like he was a pillow he was trying to fluff!"
Mr Video straight CLOWNIN!
Loki - "KNEEEEEEEL !!!!"
Me: - Stop yelling... and stop calling me 'Neil'.
1. loki didn't travel from a spirit world and back to earth..it was a memory of a conversation he had before he went to earth..
2. Barton's (Hawkeye) actual superhuman ability is he didn't miss in his shots..
3. the A left in the stark tower stands for Avengers..
nice reaction..
Glad to see you made it out the slammer bro lol When Harry Potter coming been a while now?
This was a film worth waiting for a long time ago. It doesn't matter how many times I've seen it, I still excited about the whole thing.
“This big ball sack chin guy” 🤣🤣🤣
That line made me laugh so hard, dude hahaha
I can say I have a blast watching this with you bro, this is my second avenger favorite movie
Caps outfits get way better after this movie. I felt the same way you did.
I pray it do man
Looking forward to you getting to Cap 2. It’s my favorite MCU movie. Possibly the best in my opinion.
RDJ kept sneaking and hiding snacks all over the set The Director finally gave up and let him have his snacks, which is how you got the scene of Stark offering Banner and Cap some blueberries
oh man Leo, this is only the beginning 🙌
Uphill from here, Ragnarok, Infinity war, endgame...
Yep, this is where it really starts to take off!
22:50 fun fact, RDJ had snacks hidden around the sets.Him handing banner some of his snack was an adlib
46:47 That's Stan Lee, godfather of Marvel comics, he appeared in every marvel movie until he passed away.
I heard they pre-recorded some stuff with Stan Lee so he's not done with movies just yet. I really hope that's true!
@@brothergrief9531 I wish, but he didn't appear in the more recent MCU films, I think last time I noticed him was ENDGAME.
Leo!
Love this film. Future Marvel films are probably gonna have 2 post credit scenes and am looking forward to seeing them with you!
Yo! All these many years later and there aren't too many things funnier than Loki catching the business from Hulk. When he paused and looked at him and was like, "nope he still alive" and started slamming him again.... I could watch that scene over and over all day!
Hell yeah keep that heat coming. For infinity war u need to do two parts bro
"HURRICANRANA??" made me burst out laughing
One thing you've always got to take into consideration; Hawkeye and Black Widow are the only 'normal' humans on the (mcu) original Avengers, no super tec, genetically altered, being a literal god... Just highly skilled humans trying their best, but who are still vunerable.
Yes...glad you are doing The Avenger films. Absolutely love them.
You're always gonna love Loki, whether you want to or not. 💚
Tasty.
So glad you’re finally watching the Avengers! You have so much to discover about the MCU and I’m excited for you 😄
Absolutely gutted you missed Cap handing Fury the $10 thinking he was a valet-prime MCU moment
Rip to my grandpa he took me to see this when i was 9 and we watched all the movies together. He died before endgame came out and it broke my heart going to see it without him. I will always cherish those moments these movies have brought to me.
My condolencez to your Gpa
My condolences 💐
Looking forward to this, man. Glad you're back at it. Nothing but love to you brotha man..... love your content. Your channel deserves all the success it is receiving! Glad to have you back! 👏❤️
Natasha is the BEST! (and Tony, of course!) 💚💚
That big chinned guy at the end is called Thanos. He will be THE VILLAIN to beat at end of all of this.
To answer your question about Cap being in charge, he’s the “leader” in the sense that he’s a master tactician while simultaneously acting as the heart of the team since he’s so righteous and always focused on the mission. Tony is kind of a co-leader but he’s more the money man, lol. As you’ll see as the movies go on, Cap is just a natural leader that the other heroes can easily rally behind
the leader always gives the great speech before the big game!
He's no tactician.
@@lelouchvibritannia4028 you’re right, he’s not a tactician. he is THE tactician. cap is literally always the one calling out the strategies in nearly every serious battle scene. most longtime marvel fans would say that the only greater tactician is maybe cyclops, but he doesn’t exist yet in the MCU so……
"I got bamboozled, man keep her ass locked up." 😂. Good one Leo
As the great Joe Bob Briggs would describe this movie: "Starring Scarlett Johansson with her massive talents and well-honed acting ass-ets."
I once heard Incredibles 2 described as "Elasti-Butt: the Movie".
"This was never going to work unless they had something to ... Avenge."
Damn I’m just getting this is where the name came from Phil’s last words
Thor has literally been in wars for countless years. He’s the most experienced but cap leadership is amazing so he leads a lot.
I do believe the hammer hitting the shield was an example of "an unstoppable force hitting an immovable object".
Scarlett Johansson is F-I-N-E fine😏
Have you seen the nudes
…of course you have we all have
😆
I have been waiting for this moment from you! Yes, you are the hype!
Thank you!
If you want more Marvel films, you should definitely react to the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies.
Mjolnir (thors hammer) is one of the strongest weapons in marvel comics , it smashed planets befor and Thor one time threw the hammer to the edge of the universe and back in less than 1 minute
lol being a "god" doesnt mean as much as it sounds in marvel.
Been missing so much of your videos man ☹️ finally got my first job 🎉
