The first place has been in business for decades. My late grandfather used to take me there, he always had a bowl of soto with a plate of rice. I just found out the place is still around, thanks to your video! 😭
Soto Bandung is quite different than the rest of Indonesian Soto, it has clear broth, while other Soto has yellowish or dark broth. The main ingredients are radish, beef, soybean, green onion, and fried shallot. Salted Egg and Crackers for add-on. and Baso Tahu or Batagor (fried version) are made from mackerel fish + shrimp or chicken.
and remember that this kind of BATAGOR, is the REAL BATAGOR. it's like the real taco is the Mexican taco ones. not the taco bell taco. it's the US version. you can find lots of weird variant of BATAGOR in jakarta and outside of west jawa. like using "fried dumpling" or stuff like that. we call it "pangsit goreng".

first thing come to my mind when I heard Estonia is Mart Poom, the legendary Estonian goalkeeper who used to play for Arsenal and other English Football clubs, enjoy your time in indonesia, and please extend your visa...
Oh wow you know that, thats cool! Haha yes, I hope Indonesia follows the steps of Thailand and makes Visa a bit easier for tourist to boost tourism and local economy.
@Gymson I don't think Indonesia needs to imitate Thailand because in Bali we have seen that many foreigners steal jobs from local people and do a lot of things that are against Indonesian law and Balinese customs. Balinese culture will eventually fade if tourists are allowed to come as many as they do. We should prioritize quality over quantity. because local tourism can also improve Indonesia's tourism economy
