I can certainly see this fly taking (a) fish, but I can also see the body and/or thorax falling apart very easily, and for long casts I can also see this little devil eating its way up my leader.
Hi, Yeah its one of those patterns that really does work but is a little delicate. You can run a fine wire rib over the quill and tying thread through the thorax to make it a little more robust, but it only takes a couple of minutes to tie...
@@Thefeatherbender Couldn't you also wrap the body and thorax over a tiny coating of cyanoacryrlate to boost durability a little?
