The ESC heats up from use. Is not critical, but better make some additional ventilation in the airplane body
Hello, I have a question. Esc and motor supports 4s lipo?
Motor support just 2-3S, in seller description for this ESC says about supporting 2-3S. But on ESC label we can see 2-4S.
where did you get power connection of your fpv? what connection? thanks
For powering my FPV system I use handmade power wire: JST connector 3S balancing connector. You can find these connectors or power wires almost in all china's stores who sales rc products and etc., just type in a search field "JST connector" or "3S balancing connector".

yeah, Sky Surfer X8 is a Bixler clone and parts from Bixler must be compatible with Sky Surfer X8

2S 1300mah very lightweight. To get the plane's normal center of gravity, it is better to use 3S 2200mAh

Flight time with 2200mah?
Flight time depends from how often you will use full throttle. I got more than 20min flight time with throttle around 50%

(buyer be aware) at :52, the main wing has Positive aoi; this is a less, energy efficient configuration. at 1:57, the use of a curved vert-stab leading edge is a Not recommended. at 2:10, WRONG. the control horn and linkage alignment Should be Perpendicular to the hinge line. at 2:38, WRONG. there should be NO Bends in pushrods; unless Absolutely necessary. at :52 and 5:26, an Optimal thrust line/angle has Not been used; this Wonkiness is a factor in the dive at launch behavior. googletranslate

Probably that information will be helpfull for some users. You finded so many wrong and incorect moments in construction of this airplane :) But, as result you can see in this video (from 5:26) as this airplane can fly. It flys is pretty stable and good responsive to my controll.
