Impressive video. Inspired me to leave a comment which I barely ever do. This video is unlike no other on the Note 8 at this early stage of its release. Great job. Definite thumbs up man. Subscribed too. Keep it up.
Very nicely done. Curious to know when spare parts will be available because of course I cracked the screen on day 3. One question, after reassembly will the phone still be water proof? Have you tested that?
I need to remove a jammed in SD mini card from the naked slot. it somehow got dislodged from the tray and is now stuck in the bottom of the slot. Appreciate any directions.
You need to change it. Believe me, you will need it.
Very nice video. Thanks for doing this. I accidently stuck the sim removal pin into the wrong hole on the note 8. I think its the mic hole. Did I do any damage? Did I break any water tight seal. Should I be worried? I tried to get a good look at the components in your teardown to see what a pin would do damage to but cant be sure. Hope you can help. Thanks.
I need the video how to replace my Note 5 N920P screen. That phone's screen is so fragile. Pressure from an iPad cracked the screen and digitiser both in a bag tossed from the front seat to the back seat in a car. My other phones took drops on harder surfaces face down and we're fine.
Bro is rough with everything, I hope people care enough about their phones to not be rough. It's a mistake I made with a couple Samsung's and iPhones a while back and ended up losing money
does somebody know how to turn on the phone without the power button? Quick reference, the front glass is broken and my kid throw it to the pool, the phone keeps working perfectly but months later the power button began to fail, until I didn't work anymore, after that I never let my battery died, The inevitable happens and last month my phone shut down because it ran out of battery, I already replace the power button flex, and clean the inside board (it showed signs of lime rust). while charging the phone the screen turns on to show the battery level, but I CAN'T TURN IT ON, any advice? thanks and regards.
Bro please reply, is the whole frame at the usb port painted to make it look like metal or it is just bare metal..?? I've got lot of scratches there so I'm thinking of doing metal polish to get rid of the scratches..Your reply helps me a lot bro please reply😓
There is a better and faster way to remove the back cover than this. But why in the world would you want to disassemble a brand new phone ? Unless it is stolen and you need to break it into a separate parts

He said thanks... not........!
I watch step by step and dissemble my phone.
Do you have video to glue back together.
Thank you Brother

By the way, that would take me like 2 hours.
So even if I send my phone to Samsung for new screen it won't be water resistant anymore?
At a Sumsung repair centre the techs seal the phone again and is 100% water proof again. Its done in a heating oven.

question. Is it possible to exchange a demo phone motherboard to an ordinary motherboard?
Is the back cover only 1 layer? or is it part glass and part plastic underneath cause i have a tiny crack from dropping it.

Can I ask why u would totally disassemble a brand new Note 8? And did it work correctly when put all back together?
if you want to replace the midframe due to dents and scratches. thats where the phone takes most hits from falls.
Is it easy to take the dual camera module off the board and replace it?
No because you cant get it apart😑

eddie2799 u should be more careful and attention to detail. Lol
Same thing with the same question. Mic is working but idk about water proofing
Don't worry too much about waterproofing. You are not going to dip it literally to a glass of water, aren't you?
