    Beautiful aircraft. The great news is she’s still active, making occasional flights out of the US 👍🏻

    Amazing aircraft I flown on one in April 1986 from Manchester to malaga it was an airline called canafrica it was bloody noisy and had all different coloured seats some were blue some green it was a rickety old thing but an enjoyable time at 14 years old at first I thought it was going to crash as it was so noisy but we got to Spain eventually I dont think there's any passenger one's flying I know there's a few still flying doing cargo runs I would love to fly on another one tho!!!😎

      I think that plane had the smaller, louder, weaker engines of the 1950s-1960s.

    Nice video. Not too rare for a 70 series, but more so a 72! Almost all 72s were private VIP planes, unless she was a freighter when 62 series, and stayed a freighter. Rare would have been a 61/63. She was probably been delivered somewhere. Still, nice video ideed.

    Those planes like the DC 8, 9
    and Boeing 707, 727 were discontinued because they make too much noise

    • @_SP64_
      @_SP64_ 3 роки тому +1

      In case of the -63/-73 it was just old at that point since these engines are used on its spiritual successor the A340. If DC8s are maintained properly then they can be perfect freighters for everyday use
