I will assume you haven't seen either of the Peladon stories, since you didn't include your reaction to Alpha Centuri
HANG ON
THIS ISNT A DRUNK REACTION
Or is it
I can't wait for you guys to get to the finale 😊
yep, it was much better than all the other episodes... which wasn't hard
You know, I just thought: Why does Doctor Who even need filler? I mean, I know it´s very hard, but I also remember a little something show called "Black Mirror", where EVERY single episode is just great and awesome on multiple levels and there is no such thing as "filler" there as far as I am concerned! With Doctor Who, they have the right actors, the popularity of the show basically reached the heights, it needs to get the budget it deserves after Matt Smith became The Doctor! So I accept no excuses in regards to that! And they even took a year off to be able to film this season and we all accepted that, too!! I mean, I really don´t ask for much here! Just treat the show with the respect it deserves and bring it back to its glorious level of awesomeness, we all know it CAN have!! The stories are all out there!
(And before people get pissed and throw insults back at my face: I´m NOT complaining here! I´m just ARGUING!!)
This single season of Doctor Who contains as many episodes as all the episodes of Black Mirror, plus this show has been around for over 50 years with the same (albeit wonky) continuity. Black Mirror is an anthology show. Your argument / comparison contains no validity in my opinion.
My favourite (and if i may say beautiful) Reactors back at it! not often im this happy :)
Right at the end of this episode there was the cameo appearance of a character seen two times during the classic series (Specifically in the Pertwee Era.) "Alpha Centauri". Alpha appeared in "The Curse of Peladon" and "The Monster of Peladon" in the early 70's opposite the Ice Warriors and Jon Pertwee's 3rd Doctor. That was a very awesome callback for those of us who've seen those episodes. Alpha Centauri was/is an Hermaphrodite Hexapod, a multi limbed, green being with one big eye on its head. A female voice artist was cast to do her voice, but there was a man inside the bodysuit on the original show, kind of adding to the gender neutral nature of the character. Centauri was kind of an amusing ambassador character, so it was nice to have her/it back in the new series. (Alpha Centauri has also appeared in the Big Finish audio adventure "The Bride of Peladon" with the 5th Doctor.)
Hey guys great reaction yet again! i think your the only people ive seen who haven't grown to like Nardole in this series, i guess he's unnecissary, but i feel he brings a twist on a companion that hasn't been done before, which i personally think is great! Also i feel like this is an episode for the classic fans like i am, with the Alpha century cameo and the classic vibe to the episode! keep up the great work! :)
Oh my god the girl in the green shirt is so beautiful
Theyre both beautiful women :) makes me a little annoyed im never gonna meet em lol
She is hot
I liked this episode mostly for the conclusion to the conflict. It was a different touch than how the regular stories are resolved, showing another alien species that isn't all about merciless bloodshed and hate.
This episode made me think of Tomb Of The Cybermen alot, also was good seeing Alpha Centauri again, I think they last appeared in The Monster Of Peladon during Jon Pertwee's era.
This episode: Mary goes 'WAT' a lot. :D
The next one is a lovely story, with a lot of development for Bill as a character
I actually really liked this episode. Thought it was cool to see more than 1 Ice Warrior in New Who. I loved the Empress too
feast for my eyes
Matrix Allure 0:14 ;D
I actually enjoyed this Ice Warrior story better than Cold War (although I like the Claustrophobic Terror and Stuff on a Submarine types of stories).
2:10 - Perfect character analysis right there! I´d say, the thing about Nardole is, that he´s both! So he´s a nerd!!
Miss you girls.
When do we bet to see your reaction to ep 11 e 12
This episode was average, but i liked it a lot because it was a prequel to the classic series, and i liked that this season, even if some episodes were called " boring ", was filled with very nice remembrance of the old series :) ( don't know if it's correctly said )
Is it possible that the actress playing the Ice warrior's empress is the same who played the Spider queen with Donna and the 10th ( and also the Troll princess in Merlin ), i think i recognized her voice but im not sure and didn't find the cast of this episode.
No, Adele Lynch played the Ice Queen. Sarah Parish is the actress who was in The Runaway Bride and Merlin.
Okay thank you for the information :)
Loving these videos, but please don't listen when people tell you to skip certain episodes. I'll admit, this one coming up seems to be the least popular, but its still enjoyable and worth watching, at the very least.
Josh of the Kings Guard I love The Eaters of Light. It had a really different feel to it compared to almost every episode I've seen for a very long time. I think it might get a cult following as years go by looking back.
I liked the gay talk and the setting, but the rest was quite forgettable IMO.
Joseph Simpson I completely forgot about any kind of "gay talk" in the episode. I'm more interested in the story so maybe that's why i enjoyed it more. Each to their own I guess.
The finale is so good
Yo do you guys have a P.O. box? I literally got two Tardis blankets for my birthday, and I haven't taken one of them out of the package, I'd be more than glad to send it to you!
Yay
Can't wait for you to react to episode 11 & 12
Hurrryyyyyy UPPPP
For the next episode... well.. good luck
😢
The infamous episode...
TweedJacketProductions both are horrible
are you serious?
Who else got notification for two videos? 😂
0:13 شوفوا ديودي
It's been nearly two months, anyone else starting to think they've given up on this series? :(
Bevelling Retorts we constantly update the situation on Twitter (@chiquegeeks) they’ll be up next week
That's good to hear dude, was starting to wonder if this was the last one. :)
yeey
Was I the only one who couldn't focus on the episode for 2 big reasons?
Yes,,I was hypmotized by those 2 BIG reasons, but its ok I aint complainin :)
First of fucking all the word you're looking for is Lesbian not 'Lebanese' (that's an ethnicity.) Neither of which describes Amy.
Secondly, I am appalled that this shit is still here. You all disgust me. Like the Atraxa said 'Noisy men.' Just want to hear themselves talk to assert their dominance.
Amy doesn't dress to flaunt her body to you, perhaps you could respect her a little bit more before you get yourself blocked. Sexist bastards.
PLZ DONT WATCH THE NEXT NEXT TIME TRAILER
Nice tan there Amy ;)
You skipped Alpha Centauri :(
They reacted to the 8th Doctor minisode, and An Adventure In Space And Time. So why not? Also, everyone should give a damn about Classic Who cuz it's absolutely phenomenal and the best show.
The Queen of The Ice warrior's -so to say - was voiced by Ysanne Churchman. Who originally also worked on the classic Doctor Who series. 92 years of age. Pretty impressive.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ysanne_Churchman
What? No. You got it entirely wrong. Ysanne Churchman voiced Alpha Centauri, not the Ice Queen. The Ice Queen's like, 30
Oh yeah. Sorry. I misread the information about it.
The actress who voiced Alpha Century was an actual original one who portraited them in the old seasons - she is now in her 90s. It was a good touch to boost episode which was a little boring in the comparission to the finale.
how would they know this episode is boring without seeing the final episodes? Why would someone feel the need to post this? I really would like to know the thought process in this post
I didn't get to see any episodes after this one, so this is where I'll have to stop following this series unfortunatly.
I didn't hate this episode but it felt like such filler, easily the least important episode in the season
True but Mark Gattis' best episode in 3 years.
Hurry up with these reactions. Skip episode 10 and go straight for episode 11
no
They're very slow... annoyingly so...
Dont get your hopes too high with the next episode. It's not bad but not good either. The episodes after that are alot better though
dumbasses said the same thing about this episode. here is the thing, if you want to control things make your own reaction channel and see how many people want to see your opnion on things
6:10...ah yes, goosebumps over how man-hating this show has become. (This comment has absolutely NOTHING to do with the next Doctor - just a lot of the dialogue from the show since Moffat took over).
G Robinson proving why...what? The show is man hating? So the show is man hating because I dislike the show being man hating?
Lol dude wtf. Just no. The one in this episode isn't really that bad, but when taken in conjunction with all the others it shows a pattern of disrespect. Imagine if the show constantly made comments about how women are inferior to men - would it be OK then? Don't try and make out that i'm a sexist and hate women because I don't, and for the love of god don't dismiss a differing opinion as "crying like a baby". I'm making valid points and you're just trying to dismiss them so they're not addressed.
Let's look at some examples. In the Doctor the Widow and the Wardrobe - "Translated from the base code of nature itself. You and I, Cyril, we're weak. But she's female." Literally saying that ALL men are weak and ALL women are strong. Pretty damn offensive.
Hell Bent - "The only time I've been a man, that last body. Dear Lord, how do you cope with all that ego?" Literally saying that all men are egotistical. Pretty damn offensive.
And then there's this episode - "We are both surrounded by noisy males. I would value your opinion." Like I said, not as bad - but it implies that male opinions are not worth as much as female.
Let's try an experiment.
The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe - "Translated from the base code of nature itself. You and your daughter, Madge, you're weak. But me and Cyril are men."
Hell Bent - "The only time I've been a woman, that last body. Dear Lord, how do you cope with all that ego?"
This episode - "We are both surrounded by noisy females. I would value your opinion"
Funny, or offensive and showing a pattern of misogyny?
Hell Bent - The General regenerated in to a woman, who asked how the one who had fought alongside The Doctor put up with the ego, not the other way around.

I think you're misremembering.
Roger O'Donnell erm nope, that cope quite clearly proves my quote exactly right.
stop eating jeez
sorry i mean workout lol
Why is everyone in their comments section such assholes lately? Who gives you the fucking right?!
skip the next one it's really shit
JJ_B yes it terrible
JJ_B just because it's not related to the main arc in the series doesn't make it shit, it's just a filler episode, but it's pretty much a Classic Who episode.
they shouldn't skip any of them now - there are moments at the end of each episodes
Better than this one!!
MediaMan i agree, just like this one, its an episode for the classic fans, which i thin we need more of an this series did brilliantly!
Don't react to the next one it's a waste of time. Put episode 11 and 12 in the same video aswell
You'll hate the next one
