- My first Louis Vuitton purchase since they came out with the new design of the box/bags & for the monogram eclipse! I meant to say silver & gold. Not silver and gray lol. This is my first unboxing, so sorry if I mess anything up.

I had the what I think was the Taiga leather LV card holder 2 years and really liked it. It's not as attractive as the calf leather, but I think it wears better than the calf. I think LV makes some nice card holders, but I have feeling that Goyard might be more quality and luxurious but I'm not sure.
Woah, I've always been hesitant to get my SLG's hotstammped because I thought it was too much but I never knew you could get it embossed like that! Nice and subtle, much more my style. Awesome video, thanks for the info!

hey Jeff, I have a question regarding the hotstamping. The assistant at the store told me that she does not recommend hotstamping the leather part since it was a coated type of leather and that hotstamping it would ruin the coating. Since it has been a year now since you uploaded this, does the leather still hold up? thanks

I went to my store the other day and the sales assistant was real moody as if she didn't care and when I asked if you could hot stamp this card holder she said no so I left it. Shame, the people who used to work there were so nice and when I got my Damier Infini multiple wallet the old staff were so nice and suggested colours ect for me. Did you get yours stamped as soon as you bought it?

Are you still rocking the LV Porte Cartes Double cardholder? Do half folded bills fit in the center slot without sticking out of the top? Out of all the LV cardholders, I like this one the best. I handled it in an LV boutique some time ago and recall it being much softer than the other cardholders. Not sure why that is..
Adamas half folded bills will stick out, if you double fold it wont show. But won’t be able to hold much.
That’s a deal breaker. Nah, I’m not into tri-folding bills. I usually carry just a few bills.

Did the store deboss your cardholder or did you have to bring it somewhere else for that??? because I know they hot stamp but never knew they deboss. Thanks for your help!
