@@Dakotapowalisz2008 I'm not sure if they have any age restrictions, but you do need to be able to fly solo, which is minimum age 16 in USA.
How do you choose? All these amazing Ag Schools right now. I can't believe the industry is still suffering from shortages.
Well I’m studying turf grass but Iv loved airplanes since I was about 9. So maybe this is something I should consider.
This is probably a fun way to work and fly but I'll still bet the Power-line /Tree vs. Low flying aircraft accident rate is or could be a bit high.... thought about this when I first started flying back in '76 ...... I still love the LOW & FAST part of it and I'll stop and watch a crop duster working anytime I see one ..... I'm sure this a GREAT flying school !

SAME HERE! I heard from this ag guy that doing ag can be a gateway to being a SEAT. I rmember the first time I saw a firebomber, There was a bad fire where I lived, they actually got some AG planes and loaded them up with water. Dropped the water over the fire like they did crops, I was determined to become one then. They even flew in pairs.
it reminded me so much of the old ww2 strafing runs, I was alawys a big fan of ww2 aviation as a kid. So it made more sense. I wish you luck man, im 21 now and just learning the fly.

@@redblue40rc33 Not true. You can find Ag Cat Radials for 30-100k. I've seen Super B Cats for 120-200k.
But if you want one of them brand spankin' new Air Tractor PT-6's, you're looking at 750k-1.2M, yes.
