May the Church be free of homosexual predatory priests. May Cardinals and Bishops begin to protect the innocent victims of these predatory priests. May these homosexual clerics be punished for their disgusting abusive behavior. May the Cardinals and Bishops finally find the courage to put a stop to these predatory priests. Until then withhold your money from the Church that will get their attention to take action. SILENT NO MORE
How about the novus ordo Mass--rushed and breaking form. And we wonder why Catholics fall away . . . God not rightly praised. "As you pray, so shall you believe."
The Father and the Son are the Parents of the Holy Spirit, if many churches are correct. The Trinity is a Family-- two Parents and an Offspring, if many churches are correct. In the Bible, Jesus Himself said, " I and the Father are One".--John 10:30 On the topic of marriage in general, according to the Bible Jesus said "they are no longer two but one..."-Matthew 19:6
I have no clue whatsoever that there exists any type of god, by any definition of what that god could possibly be. I can understand, and appreciate that people can have a general belief in a non-specific god - without really knowing or needing to know what it might be. But to advance beyond that position to a place where you claim there is a god, that you know what it is, and how it operates - and that you have a relationship with it - is pure mental illness, and nothing more.
@Michael Loftus Gibberish. You speak gibberish. I am 20,000 years beyond this bullshit, as was Albert Einstein. There are no rational proofs for the existence of something ostensibly supernatural. 'A priori' philosophical arguments produce philosophical abstractions - not knowable agents with knowable agencies - which is what theism portrays. Aquinas was as lost as any theist. His Five Ways is wholly deistic - not theistic. They don't argue a knowable/personal god. They argue abstractions. Which is deism. Unknowable abstractions that witless wonders such as yourself accept as a knowable "god". Existence is not something you argue. You do not argue anything into or out of existence. Name one thing that exists only because it was argued to exist but can in no way be observed to exist. Existence has to be demonstrated through common means of knowing/observing. Your supernatural invention would necessarily exist outside space/time. We cannot know or discern anything outside space/time. Our matrix of knowing is relativity based and confined. All talk of gods is rank conjecture. Assumption. Delusion. You need to spend the rest of your life repeating this Einstein quote until it makes sense - "The word god, for me, is nothing more than the expression and product of human weakness." All gods are invented. It's obvious as rain to a working mind. God is a word and nothing more. A word that has been and continues to be construed to be, and to behave any way anybody chooses to believe - which is the first clue and proof that it is wholly subjective - pure invention. How can something be anything anyone says it is and nobody can prove anybody else wrong? I know the next 756,345 thing you want to say, They are all witless nonsensical BS. I graduated one of the biggest name schools in this country. My IQ is in the top .01 percentile. Genius category, as was Einstein. I'm 20,000 years beyond this bullshit. You are right in the middle of it. The phenomenal may well have been intended into existence by an outside agent/agency. But we do not and cannot know that. Your invented god is a gap filler. Something you deem necessary. Deeming something necessary does not a god produce. (I'm the guy you replied to under a different channel name.)
Christians don't claim to know what God exactly is in the fullest sense, we only have hints and notions of how God operates. We claim it because we have proof (which has no reason to be merely physical or scientific), and we know. We claim relationship with God for the same reason. You can only find proof for the Christian God by means of yourself and your being. To be in an ignoring and arrogant attitude towards any question of truth will never find the truth rightly.
Father Barron, thank you for your service to Christ. I always enjoy your videos.
Mt 5:17-19

WHY NOT INVITING MICHAEL VORIS INSTEAD??

How would withholding money do any good? If we all didn't pay taxes to the government, would that convince them of some political issue?

What about the Novus Ordo mass is evil?
