Thank you for uploading! I have a question: The older, white haired gentleman--what kind of dialect does he speak? It sounds like he spoke another language for a very long time and then returned to speak Japanese.
Thank you, I just never heard it in movies or anime, or other people speaking. I assumed he was foreign-raised. Now that I think of it, most of the people they visited had the same accent--enunciating all the syllables.

VV VB probably okinawa dialect, its different from mainland japanese
