Great unboxing! I agree that this box is a little disappointing though. It seems like many subscription boxes are hit and miss. I agree with you on Loot Crate too; I hadn't subscribed for a while, but the July Loot Anime was appealing to me, so I decided to subscribe. It's already been delayed into September though.
steev the technophile Yeah, it seems like all their crates have been delayed lately. For Loot Anime, they said it was because of an unexpected manufacturer delay. Honestly, I think they have so many different crates now, they're having a hard time keeping up with everything.
Haley Scully LootCrate never returns emails so I can only speculate. This stuff is so popular and they should get it right if they want to make money and make customers happy. I understand delays but if each Crate experiences a delay then you’re going to take a loss of canceled subscriptions. My JapanCrate has never been late. Neither was my other Funko POP! Crate.

This box made me cancel, but of course I am owed FIVE more because they keep charging us even though we receive nothing for our money for several months. There is a small chance that one of these boxes I'm yet to receive (since Loot Crate will not refund money they've already taken for a future boxes) will make me re-subscribe, but I highly doubt it. The Wolf 359 box was one of the best Loot Crates I've seen. This one was thrown together, probably just to get something to the subscribers, which was a bad move. They should have sent out an interim box with a few goodies like they did the first time, with an explanation that they were working on a quality box and it was taking longer than they expected.
Yeah, the value of this box definitely seems disappointing to say the least. I checked spoilers because it’s been delayed so long I don’t care much anymore. The socks are fine and I’ll wear them but I’d have preferred a shirt. The Klingon badge is pretty decent as is the Worf mini masters figure. The Tribble is whatever, not awful but I wouldn’t have picked it up if it was something I had just seen in a store. The lapel pin isn’t bad but kinda similar to the QMX magnetic badge we got in the first box- I’d have preferred something different. The sticker is just whatever. I’ll put it somewhere but not overly thrilled with it. Overall seems like a half assed box in my opinion. I’ve already paid for boxes three and four so I’m on board but I cancelled any future boxes until I see the boxes.

Something I didn’t notice in your video but now having my box is strange is that a lot of the box while supposedly DS9 themed is TNG themed. Like I saw the pictures of Picard like you pointed out but the labels even say: The Next Generation on the socks, Klingon badge, and the box itself. This was definitely half assed. On top of it the mission statement in the box is from TOS so it doesn’t even match what it says it is. This is all nitpicky but still.

I like the figure, the socks are ok (but they’re socks), I’m surprised they didn’t include a lanyard given how repetitive their boxes have been lately. We’ll probably get that in the next box for Christmas. That’s how long it’ll take to get the third box. Still no word on the bonus item for those who signed up for the year. Unbelievable how a company can be so bad at getting their product out on time. Glad I cancelled but I did pay for the year, so it’ll take two years to get what I paid for.
I feel like they got the socks and pin with Picard on them from some dude in an alley selling gucci knock offs as well! As far as what prize I would pick? I'm going to say the socks. Winter is coming and if anyone can keep my feet warm its a PicardKlingon hybrid??!!

I keep wondering what new life Picard will have. He is amazing and hopefully he has a great deal of influence in the way his character is portrayed.
