Hi Laura, it’s Sarah. I met you at empire farm days I just wanted to let you know that you have inspired me to start a UA-cam channel soon with my farm. Especially when I get my cows.
Well, I've subbed. Can't wait for even more farming in my subscriptions
Subbed👍🌄
your subs are up to 30 better find the camera :)
@@lenbrow9698 I didn’t expect to get followers from a comment I am going to film my first video tomorrow
Sorry guys I was going to start today but I just found my cat dead and I’m busy all weekend so I promise I will make videos next week
I grew up on a horse farm in upstate New York. We had Tennessee Walkers, but our neighbor down the road had 100 head of dairy cows. My dad bartered with him, so me and my brothers would work on the dairy farm in exchange for hay. One of my favorites tasks, and one that you've mentioned is "picking rocks."
I loved it, because I would get to drive a huge JD tractor throughout the fields, inching the bucket in front of a rock, getting down and placing the rock in the bucket. What 8 year old wouldn't enjoy racing through the fields on a huge tractor...Upstate New York is a beautiful place and the dairy farms here are awesome. I've enjoyed watching a few of your videos. They've brought back many fond memories. Our farm is no more, hasn't been for 30 years. To this day one of my favorite smells is a milking barn. Thanks for jogging this city boys memory!
I live in Upstate NY but circumstances prevent me from coming to the Farm Days to meet you. Glad you like this piece of the country that we call home.
I really enjoyed watching them work on the farm and seeing what big farming is like. It is now beginning to look like it is fun and games with them and flaunting their money/possessions.
What a beautiful couple. God keep blessing you and your family.
We have been to New York City....Once. Been there done that, one and done, will never be going back to that place. However, the rest of New York State was fantastic and beautiful. Would love to go back and see it again. Love the booth!
Always enjoy watching your videos!! I’ve spent 24 years farming and still love the chance to go to NY. We love NY and it’s always a fun time!!! Lots to see and do there. Exploring is always fun!
I work in the computer industry and find myself wanting to be a farmer after watching this incredible couple. Then the truth hits me, and I realize that I am not smart enough to do all of their work! Damn, farmers have to know so many things! I never really thought about all that they have to deal with until I stumbled across this channel. So, I will just show my support through purchasing their gear and liking their videos. Well done you two and enjoy NY!
Just save up for decade or so...wait and watch the land markets. It’s high atm, but some folks will lose everything eventually.
@@sknerl you seem like a lot of fun to hang around with. Good Lord, lighten up
@@ARTWV he's keeping it real. Ag is a tough business, especially because you have no real control over your end product price. Right now prices are doing alright, but the 10 years prior to 2020 the national average income for farms was in the NEGATIVE with averages Nationally -$1,000 because grain prices were so low. Weather can make or break you from hail and wind in NE to flooding in NY.
Hi Laura, seeing you and Grant zooming around New York city on one of those little scooters reminds me of a comedy romance movie, how cute. It's wonderful to see the two of you enjoying being married and having some fun while at the same time building a business. Did you ever imagine having such a large collection of first class merchandise when you started??? Grant makes a great male model, he's got the whole young, handsome farmer look down cold!!! Plus you look absolutely big time gorgeous when you get a chance to show off your natural beauty. Don't forget to write off the trip as a business expense... Enjoy!!!
Good looking show. I hope you and grant continue to have a good time. A break from the norm is as good as a holiday.
I love the shirt Grant is wearing and am buying one today. Looks like an awesome time. Enjoy the sights!
Laura "Someone drove 15 hours just to meet me". Yeah, I don't find that surprising at all.
I would too, but not up to NY from all that I hear about it. I'm from the city here but know better than to travel up there unless forced to, lol. NY is probably like everywhere else, high crime in the cities (on certain sides of town) but out in the rural areas it is A-OK.
Hello it was so nice to see you and Grant at the show today, believe it or not we do have a lot of grain farmer up North, we have lost a lot of our dairy farmers , we have a guy near me that plants over 17000 acres of mix soy and corn , I too was surprise that they didn't have any combines there they usually do but with the new location this year things might have changed, it wasn't the show that they usually have ,hope New York treated you guys well, BTW I really like the hat I got from you, enjoy your stay , hope you guys have a safe trip back home.😁
That`s very interesting. Have a good time in ny and many interesting discussions. You are absolutly impressive and the best farming girl...greetings from Germany.....
It was a surprise seeing you and Grant with your booth at Empire Farm Days, it is a long way from Nebraska.
Enjoy the show it looks like rain free all 3 days, that'll be a record for the last couple of months. If you get out and around you will see a lot of yellow stunted corn and beans from being drowned this spring and summer.
It was so great to meet you both! Enjoy the rest of your stay here in Upstate NY!
My mom's family is from upstate New York is it is very nice out that way and Im so glad you are enjoying yourself.
Was at the farm show today but missed being able to meet you and grant. Hopefully you can come back next year. This is the first year of the show at this location in over 20 years so the show is smaller than it was when it was held in Seneca falls. Usually have lots of larger equipment and combines. Also think covid played with equipment availability. Hope you enjoy upstate new york!
Very cool. I live in Maine. And I could never live in New York City. But upper state New York is very nice. I have some logger buddies that live their. Good luck and have fun!!
You guys did such a fun way to see the city on a scooter. Good Job you TWO.
Grant looks so happy in this video! I love it!
Upstate is beautiful. Can’t say that about NYC
The world is your oyster right now, Laura. Enjoy it & prepare for when the bright lights are not so bright!
It was great meeting you today, I hope you enjoy NY.
My home state was born in Syracuse ! Explore the finger lakes area ….We .now live in north west Michigan and have Cherry and apple orchards and a farm market , it’s good to see other farming operations , that why we love yours! Enjoy Upstate NY ,
Welcome to NY! So happy you got to visit!!
High Laura love your videos please keep them coming. Of all the farmers videos, there’s three that I watch. That’s you and Peterson family farms for modern farming. And just a few acres for old school farming like when I was growing up. Take care be safe and have a good year.
I have been going to farm shows, heavy equipment shows and wood machinery shows since I was 10 years old ( 50 years ago ) and I just love the whole concept, that everything about the show is under one roof. The people are all interested and open so you could talk to anyone. This was one of the best videos you have done. I would have loved to meet you but I am European so I can´t enter the US. Please more vids like this..
I’m from upstate New York and you are right, it so nice here
Looks like you’re having good weather there, getting ready for 3-4 inches rain in Boston area. You want to see major operation upstate NY check out Hourigan Family Dairy.. super big family operation, a lot of heavy iron!👍👌😉😊🇺🇸
Great video !! Thanks for the update
Nice video nice to see you Laura
Yeahhhhhhhh so pumped you two went to Tavern on the green......Great take.
Thanks for sharing. Bless you and Grant.
Can't wait for the American flag shirts to hit the merch store!!! Definitely going to snag a couple of those for me and my 10 year old!!! Looks like y'all are having super fun! Stay safe!
Love that new shirt......RED White and Blue!
The booth looks amazing!!!
How cool!
What an awesome trip!!
Good video
Hi Laura!Awesome video.Hope all is well on the farm.
*puts hand up*
I still listen to CD's! Our species still exists!
I did until recently. The CD player in my car (circa 2006) packed up a few months ago and I'm not sure if I can be bothered to replace it. 😂
@@zoidberg444 that's why I'm still using CD's, the radio in my '02 Corolla is still going strong! 🤣
@@HendrikOutdoor Damn. Everything on my Toyota radio works except the CD player. I just got one of those kits which adds an AUX input through the wiring harness for the optional CD interchanger and I listen to music from my phone through that.
Wow, thanks for sharing this.
Congrats on graduation.
I live in Pennsylvania and on my farm we do mostly hay and animal work but it has rained so much this year that we could not cut all of our fields and we have to get rid of it all and start fresh. So farming here has been a lot different to last year. (Note: each field pulls in around 2 - 3 load per cut and 3 cuts per year but now we may only get half that) love your videos keep up the great work.
Really dug the footage of you guys not just working on the farm. You should do more travel videos!
Hello Laura and Grant, have a great time at the show.
WooHoo Syracuse !! Welcome to the Salt City !! I've called Syracuse my home for the last 42 yrs ! Glad you went to NYC... but welcome to the real NY now !! Enjoy the hills and valleys and country land south of Syracuse ! It's beautiful country !!
So glad you like NYC - I live is a suburb outside of the city, love being close to the Big Apple 🍎 I love the outdoors which brought me to you UA-cam channel, but grew up with NYC always in my backyard 😎
Laura Branson and Mahindra are big out here in the West Coast. I have a Branson it's been terrific made in South Korea with a Cummins 3 cylinder diesel.
Thank you Laura & Grant
Hi Laura I’m from Long Island outside NYC. Upstate NY is beautiful and I hope you and Grant enjoy every minute of it. I am new to your channel and I am really enjoying your videos.
Lady, You belong with the Stars!
Congratulations Laura on your trip and best wishes from Indiana
Yes, upstate NY and a whole lot of New England is dairy country, for sure. One of the reasons is that you don't have to have massive acreage, as you really need to row crop grain. Now, come down south here and you'll see some other foreign equipment to you, namely cotton pickers! Enjoying your trip up north!
very little grain is grown on the eastern half of New York. And most of the big farms here in New York have done nothing but push out the little farmer and all of the big farms fight for land because of the amount of cows they're milking anywhere between 2500 head and 3500 head
They just moved empire farm days to that location this year. The previous location they always had large tractors and combines.
Got a good laugh out of Grant modeling the merch! You guys are just too fun!
Welcome to the best part of NY state, upstate. Hopefully you all will return next year and I will be able to attend the farm show. Stay safe and continue to have fun !!!
But Syracuse is not Upstate New York its Western New York
Grant & Laura, cleaned up, looking good, and hit n' the town, "LOOK OUT NEW YORK, NEBRASKA'S COMING TA VISIT" 😉
Yeahhhhhhhh BIG G is taking care of his Lady! Glad you two are going together to NY!!!!!
Laura "YOU ARE AWESOME". it was so cool to see you at EFD. i was the one who said you were awesome. I'm gonna sub you for the win!
that New Holland silage cutter would be a great addition to your operation or even the john Deere cutter in the john Deere display lol.
Awesome Couple Laura and Grant have a wonderful time in New York watch all your video enjoy your videos one of UA-cam's fan from Texas Have A Wonderful Time In New York Laura And Grant
Now you both have made my day. I am so happy and not surprised you had a great time, not only in NYC but in our upstate 'city in the country", Syracuse, to see the Empire Farm Show. I wish I had known. I surely would have come to the show to stop in. I know you both were terribly busy, but if you didn't have time to visit our local natural lakes and big Lake Ontario, maybe you both can return for a vacation or something sometime. I'm glad you both enjoyed yourselves here. Cheers from upstate NY.
And yes, it was a wet summer at times, for sure.
enjoying yourselves best wishes
empire farm days was a great event ! Pumped that Laura and grant came up here, said hi to them, scored some Merch, and made It in the video awesome ! at 5:15 and 6:00 minutes in haha
Thank you for visiting NY, I want to come to Houston, not for the city but to see a very good friend, strongly that the borders be reopened
Thanks for the pics of the Meyer TMR I more than likely welded some of it
NICE ! HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS ! I've been upstate for 50 years and never went to NYC ! You are way to adventurous ! If you see JoJo tell her I named my chocolate lab after her ! thought it was such a cool name ! I will order some hats soon ! safe travels ! Grant you are a lucky guy !
So enjoy to you for your channel . I'm a french fan 😉👌🚜🚜

Thank you for showing people NY isnt just a city. Upstate is just like most other states.
Great video Laura...love the story of Grant buying the CD...lol...same thing happened to me during a trip to NY...however "My Wife " stepped in and stopped me from purchasing just before passing the cash over ...apparently she did her research prior to arrival...unlike myself ..the country pumpkin...lol
I wanted to meet you in person but I was too busy bush hogging the pond levee but keep the videos coming Laura also great job on getting your degree 🚜🤠👍🤯
New York City is a tiny portion of the State, many folks live their whole lives and never go down there. People don't realize NY State is home to thousands of dairy farms, it's not all "city" as many people think it is. The Adirondack Forest is huge and very much a wilderness right in the middle of the state.. Sadly most people think of NYC when they hear New York, but the state is much more than that. Yes, it's NOT the mid-west with miles of grain and corn, but it's very rural for most of it. I'm glad you got to see a portion of it, it's not all what you see on TV.
Wow a great video Laura farms.
I am so glad you got a chance to get up there and experience that I was born and raised in Mexico New York Oswego county farm country and yes it's a lot different from where you're originally from and as far as salt potatoes go they are the cat's meow we always used to have them with corn on the cob, clams/ muscles, New York style BBQ chicken, I do miss the place although I have moved out here to Oklahoma, and they are different breed of people there and a whole lot different than those from New York City New York City is a place of its own, in New York state is the world apart. As it should be, enjoy your days there, again I miss the place. Mexical New York is about 45 miles north of Syracuse lake Ontario area. If you get a chance scout around the area, go down route 81 to 11:00 to route 69 and go up towards route 3 in Mexico to lake Ontario. Have a good time. Oh and I love your channel..! ❤️
The equipment isn't all that wide because the fields aren't any wider. lol Welcome to the east coast. As it is here in Pennsylvania, our fields were made by glaciers, leaving all the rocks behind. Hope you like it here east of the Miss. River. Hope you have a good time in NY State.
I used to go to empire farm days probably but 5 or 6 years I stopped going because me and the family weren't able to go anymore but I'm hoping to go again next year. Hope you'll be there next year.
Love your display at the NYC farm Expo.
NY farm Expo . Not NYC .wayyyy different place
Enjoy.....
Stay safe!😃👍
Have a good time all the way from Ireland 🇮🇪
When you put the phone through the fence I said oh no you didn't then waited for the drop. Like so many have lol
Come to Wisconsin next year, you be amazed at what goes down on the farm
Up here in Nebraska we don’t get a lot of water but we have gotten water 2-3 times this week
The farm progress show is at the end of August in Illinois you can stop there it's a huge show.
I was born in Manhattan, raised in NC and like you said, it's super cool visiting, but I'd never wanna live there! Im a Country boy to the core! Lol Looks like you guys are enjoying yourselves! Definitely would love to see that backhoe run down a track! Haha!
you have to go to the farm expo in syracuse new york! its open through the 24th - 26th of february 2022. it may be cold and snow there so bundle up!
I grew up in Skaneateles Falls, NY but have transplanted to northern Oklahoma between OKC and Wichita, KS
Nice video luv all of your merchandise I need to get one of those hats and a shirt. God bless and stay safe.
Laura as a person who has lived in NY for most of my life get out as soon as you can Lol
