Mr. Young, Sir, I made banana pudding using your recipe. When I tell you it's so delicious! In your words, "My God tuhday!" I made just one change, I used chessman cookies instead of vanilla wafers. I let it set overnight and yes, I had a few tablespoons this morning. It's absolutely delicious!
Hi !! T.Y Happy Saturday 😊 somehow I missed the video. Old fashioned banana 🍌 pudding the best . I like how you made the banana filling and the ingredients you used. Thank you for sharing it came out looking Devine. Have a blessed weekend. ❤️❤️❤️❤️🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🔥🔥🔥🔥🥰🥰🥰
Yes, yes throwing hugs and kisses out to Ty..I was taught homemade from my mom and G-ma. I couldn't leave the kitchen until it was right. Thank you love for this yummy walk down memory lane. Such an angel you are❤️❤️😊 Perfect making..
What black person just had bananna pudding only two times??? Who was her parents???. 😂😂😂😂. I love you Tobias. You make my day. That look good and bananna pudding is my favorite.
Tb that is exactly how my Mama made her banana pudding too! She hated meringue, she called it calf slobber! 😆 she topped hers with a cool whip and a layer of vanilla wafer crumbs or graham cracker crumbs if she didn't have any leftover vanilla wafers. She said it made it pretty. I know it's delicious cause that's what I grew up on. So I make mine like that too. I have a granddaughter with food texture issues and for some reason, she cannot tolerate hunks of banana. So I mash the bananas into the consistency of baby food and mix it in the custard. You know what? I like it! It keeps the bananas from turning brown and getting slick/slimy. I do like you and have extra bananas that people can add chunks on top of if they wish and have extra cookies too for a crunchy topping. Man, I wish I had me a big bowl right now!
I’m not sure if I can rate this as it didn’t turn out. My pudding mixture was so watery when I followed the recipe. I mixed two tablespoons of corn starch and it never thickened. I wish I can try yours because the end results looks very good. My daughters said stick to your recipe mom😂
@@Lovely-wy4fo I will say, the first time making custard is difficult! It’s all about the temperature you have it on and really understanding how long you may have to whisk
Clarification needed. Does the recipe call for 1 TBSP of Corn Starch or 2 TBSP? On the video, a message flashed at ~3 minute mark saying 2TBSP but he said 1 TBSP at the beginning of video. Can not wait to try this recipe!!!!
Why am I just now finding you? I’ve been bingeing on your videos and I’m so thankful for you and your recipes. Thank you for sharing and I’ve liked and subscribe. Bless you my friend.
Could be that. But another way to make sure your cookies aren’t soggy is to let the custard cool completely then fold in some of the whipped topping to lighten the custard. Then layer. The thicker texture will prevent the cookies from soaking up the moisture.
I love this man❤❤❤ You see that. You see that. I wish grandma was still alive. I miss banana pudding like this.
I used a double boiler to make the custard and put meringue on top (can’t waste eggs. Eggs too high!). I then put it in the oven to brown the top.
Tobias just loves to cook and feed people. My mom's the same way. Looking at others enjoy their food brings the joy.
I like seeing people try it food with honest opinions.. hopefully u incorporate that more❤
Tobias, you're getting it together. It looks good. Making me wish. Nothing but love for you.
🥰🥰🥰

Thank you for using Real Bananas! It's called Banana Pudding.
I want some I never like it because I'm guessing they was pours the mixture in hot. I don't like the mush of the cookie. So I never would eat it. 😢
