Very practical advice. I tell anyone who's learning the game if you are going for T20 and hit T18 it's a bad dart and that as their grouping gets better they will probably feel like they are playing worse as they will hit more 1s & 5s, but the next step from there the grouping will get tighter and will see more ton + scores. I like how you said not to copy throws from TV. I desperately tried to throw like Gary Anderson when i first started, no chance haha. I also stopped buying player sets and found a random set that works for me and have used for around 6 years now. Love the work lads.
Play darts in work for a bit of craic, finally decided to invest in a set and a dartboard Hitting 26s or 28s Consistently, can't seem to get it in the red 😅
Ive been throwing darts for just over 3 months now and i play around the board doubles most of the time as a warm up session then ill so around the board trebles i dont no how but ive been told its a natural thing and im a quick learner 👌👌
Good beginner tip is to aim for bull or outer bull with first dart, if you get it, brilliant, see if you can get the other 2 darts in the bull. If not, for example, you just miss the bull and end up in 11, then aim your other 2 darts at double 11. No wasted darts and gets you throwing all over the board
I stand to the right in line with the edge of the board as I find throwing diagonally to the twenties stops me hitting as many ones , I found it harder to throw straight in the cente
How good is the Mission samurai infinity board, for a regular practice at least 10/14 hours a week, regularly turned. I use the blade 6 which is fantastic, but now at the end of its life, i ended up getting the gladiator and was not impressed.
Grip softer, Gezzy and M smith both say they grip at 2/10. It feels odd at first, but reduces the likelihood of a finger movie away too slow and affecting the trajectory of the dart. The dart should rest in your hand, “grip” is a bit of a poor usage of the term. This way the only variables come from your arm and throwing motion
@@missiondarts well I’ve got mission precision booked in March maybe Andy will advise on what to do to remedy my dominant throw , I will ask him can I show him my left throw also to see what his opinions are. Really looking forward to it, keep up the good work on the videos guys 👌🎯

Oh man. Not benefiting from poor darts. Is like not play slop in pool. Great insight. I would probably score it as a 1 instead of a miss because it missed right of my target. How would you handle misses off target on doubles? Force the clean up or say no score?
As a result, the goalkeeper is distracted and forgets to fend off the player's own points from the board. A really funny question - but everyone knows that ...
i like all these videos with this Edgar guy. He seems like the sort of player to beat Gary Anderson with a 170 finish.
🤣😂

This channel has been putting out some quality content lately, keep it coming guys.
That's the plan! and thank you
Your wonderful Andy Super Guy !!!! Enjoy all you do thx jb.
Never realized I throw with Phil Taylors technique. Was always thinking I did something wrong by letting the tip rest on my tip of middle finger
Maybe he copied you..

The infinity is getting a lot of love worldwide, African Sisal, great wiring, colours spot on and a little less expensive, whats not to love..

Indeed, reviews are positive. Going to have the wife nicely.
Did you get the reply you wanted from her..

Apparently a new bed is more important. Nothing wrong with the one we have, if you ask me.
@@GusMac6129Hit them 180s on that new bed and you'll have that dartboard in good time my friend 🤣
I'm struggling with the release. Its either too early or the other way around. Any advise would be much appreciated. I grip at the front by the way.

Thanks, lots more coming soon :)
@@missiondarts awesome video! if I want to learn darts , shall I go like double 20, double 1 ect ect is that a good way to learn ?
I sometimes feel my left hand throw feels better than my dominant throw , would changing benefit me ?
You could always give it a go for a week, then change back if it doesn't help

Middle of the Oche, tell Stephen bunting that 🤣
Stephen is an elite talent not beginner
May I ask. When darts players collect their darts..Why do they always tap a back-pass to the Goalkeeper with their Right foot ??
As a result, the goalkeeper is distracted and forgets to fend off the player's own points from the board. A really funny question - but everyone knows that ...
It's a really good question..
@@missiondarts Most hit a back pass, but I think Matt actually takes a Penalty 🤣
I want to learn darts just so I can feel British. Throw a few and drink a old scalloped mug of beer
