That, Mark, was incroyable! All our fire engines are called Dennis... Have to say I'm amazed that the French bought Land Rovers. And converting Peugeots to 4 wheel drive? Why not start with something 4 wheel drive? Lada Niva! Great cars. I was in the Brecon Beacons, as it used to be called, 30 odd years ago and off in the distance there was a Landy and a Niva doing some hill climbing. The Niva left the Landy in the dust. No contest. A little disappointed to not see a 2CV with a step ladder and a fire extinguisher, but you can't have everything... Many thanks. 👍
It made change from classic cars Bill. Can only agree about the Niva, I had one in the early 90s with a 1600 Fiat twin cam in it, cracking car, wold definitely have another.
