Did you know that Datsun E1 and J engines were close copies of an Austin design from the 50s. Some people swap on performance parts allegedly. I think an AC bracket from an early MGB will fit. It looks to be one piece with the thermostat housing/hose inlet thing. Probably the lower pully from the MGB would fit, too. I was fine with no AC, though. Oh also I have seen ads in old magazines for superchargers that fit those Austin "B" series engines. Just sayin...
First off, thanks for watching my live! Second, I'm sure you are right, I used a rocker shaft for an MG because they weren't available for a Datsun. If the engine has enough power for A/C, then I would like to have it. Gets hot around here in the summer. 😂
Good job.
Thank you! Need this thing on the road this summer!
Good to see you Ben! Back at the old Datsun.
Thank you!
My grand-paw had a 68 520 Datsun, nice to see one being saved. 😊
Coolest truck I've ever owned.
I like you are back on the Datsun truck. Can’t wait to see more progress.
Thanks gonna try and stay with it, but most likely a moped video next week.
Thanks for the Update!

Idk if this old engine could hold up under boost. 😬
