Sp got the turbo pretty quick, gotta say, I think it was less than a week! But one concern I have, the inside of the housing, it's kind of rough, as opposed to machined and smooth.. Hopefully this has no affect on performance... 🤞🤞

It's not making +400whp, you're making "approx" 400bhp which you only hold for 700rpm. You're basically making IS38 power but peaking lower, everywhere in the power band by 700rpm. If you went with Corn or Aux Fueling, you'd would subtract that 700rpm loss and peak higher. But, are you willing to do that on a DQ250?
It's the wrong turbo, seriously. EQT is saving you from roasting that DSG.
wish eqt would get you a revision and get it to rev to 7200 rpm you will love that

One more quick question bro, when you first installed the turbo, did you have the tune ready to flash it straight away? In other words did EQT send you the base map to flash straight after install and then the logs came from that? Just wondering how this happens.. As I'm gonna be having a whole heap of things being done at the same time... So not sure how they'd calibrate a base map for the 3071...im hoping that now they've had some experience with these, and they are capable of sending a base map to flash straight after install...
How I did it is I bought the parts first and then the tune, waited on the base map and then installed it all after that
ok cool,thanks bro..I was just looking at their site,and ive been told this is about the same size as an XL, maybe a little bigger...on their site,theyre getting well over 450 on pump on the XL,so thats where we should be once were dialed in...@@VeeDubJordan
Have they updated your tune yet bro? Imma bout to get this turbo, have you seen ppl with the 2867 getting 500? That's about my goal.. Just don't want too much lag.. How have you found the 3071?
Yeah they updated the tune a couple weeks ago, sorry forgot to respond to the other comment lol, 2867 I haven’t seen people smash into the 500s myself but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist! The 3071 doesn’t have a ton of lag but it’s definitely noticeable coming from an IS20, but now with the tune being better and all the issues being ironed out it’s actually super easy to drive and enjoy! I’ve gotten used to the bigger turbo in low speed driving lol

Ok, yeah, I went and ordered this today, although I got the GTX3071R D5, I thought the 5+5 was really interesting... Anyway also have EQT LPFP just the basic brush less 450,I have upgraded my MPI to the 980cc injectors, and also will put in the 5Bar PUT/Map sensor as well, obv I have all the other bolt ons... Looki g to get a 93 tune and an E85 tune.... Not looki g forward to the 3dr gear pull on E85... Will be over 200klms/h,surely...have to do it late so as to not get a ticket... Lol... You did help me make up my mind, so thanks bro.
This is the exact set up I wanna run on my A3 a mamba 3071 or a 3076 and get it tuned through EQT with possible plans in the future for MPI kit and LPFP to get me into that 500+ range down the road when the car isn’t the daily anymor
3076 is bit too lazy for 500 go with the 3071
