I was a recovery operator in the US army in Iraq. I once had to tow in a Bradley that had been hit with and IED. The Bradley cought fire and burned down. The torsion bars all snapped so the hull was on the ground as I towed it back to the FOB. I got to a hill outside the FOB that was a dirt road full of moon dust but also the road was S shaped. I went from dragging it over paved surface to finding myself in a tractor pulling it. I got 1/4 up the hill before too much earth built up infront of the towed Brad. So I had one of my 2 escort Brads get infront of me and used them as extra pulling strength with tow cables hooked from them to me. We moved to about 1/2 way up the hill and again we couldn't go further. So I had the last Brad get in front of the other one infront of me. And again hooked tow cables between the Brads. I now had a sled team of Bradleys helping me in my M88a1 pulling the damaged Brad up and over the hills top. Watching this video of RC trucks and bull dozers doing brings that all back to me lol.
Too bad this guy didn't have a couple of friends there. If they where working the RCs together it would have gotten unstuck together. Still no psst, I want to hear it next time around. Great job!
