amazing amazing amazing .what a zen of sewing paige.today i did an infinity scarf with white linen 2metres /2 yards for my son.happy it came out well.your videos are wonderful.continue to inspire us.please can you do video using french curves .best wishes.
I cut this top 2 weeks ago and have been low-key stressing putting it together. You’ve made it seem straightforward! Thanks for helping me over the mental barrier to initiation. :)
Thank you for a beautiful tutorial. I am inspired to make my first silk blouse. The pattern I will be using is very similar to the one in your video. I have a question, though. I do not have a serger, so how should I finish the raw edges on the pattern pieces? I would love to use French seams, but I can not for this pattern because there are back slit and side slits. I would like to avoid doing slits with French seams because I have not had any success so far. Thank you for helping.
Hi! I really love your videos and have learned so much already! I am new to sewing but your videos are so inspiring. I was wondering if you would make a video on how to read a pattern and what all of the different symbols mean? Also, maybe on what a grain line is? Thank you!
General recommendation for silk is dry cleaning, BUT I don't do dry cleaning. I hand wash with little movement using Soak soap. I fold the silk into a large towel and roll the towel and gently squeeze out the excess water. Then unroll it and drape it over a drying rack or ironing board to air dry. Always tests a small scrap before the whole piece.
Thanks for the tutorial! Also, how do you like your BROTHER sewing machine? Ive been using my mom's old kenmore, i love it! But I should get my own ....
What kind of interfacing did you use because I used one and it was way to thick and heavy and I’m new to sewing. If anyone can give me the name and number of the interfacing I would appreciate it.
Great job, lovely pattern, beautiful material. Thank you for the tutorial. I appreciate your assistance> 1/3/2023

Absolutely beautiful, thanks so much. Very soothing to watch.
Lovely pattern
for a lovely fabric.
I enjoy your tutorials so much! I hope you consider making a video that is all about using a serger, tips, etc. It would be so great!
That would be amazing! I am so intimidated of using a serger 😱

You can do a zigzag stitch over the raw edge. I'm glad you liked the tutorial!

Hi! Thank you! That is definitely a series of videos I would LOVE to make soon.
I agree. I need help reading a pattern too.
❤❤❤❤
How did you prep your fabric? Did you machine wash gentle cycle and hang to dry?

You're welcome! I really like it a lot. It does everything I need it to do.
@@PaigeHandmade what model is it ?
Süpeeeerrrr
😘👍👏❤️🥰🌺
I don't have a serger--can I double over the edges and straight stitch instead?
Yes. You can do all french seams, bias bound seams, zigzag stitch, etc. A serger isn't a requirement.
👏👏👏👌🍀

I use Pellon lightweight interfacing.
