I was looking at your miner dashboard, and it looked like the exhaust temps went up 1 or 2 degrees, implying at least some restriction. It would be nice if you could double-check the temps after a while to see if that is a temporary effect or long term effect.
Since you have extra boards you can install Pivotal Njord in the DG1 it works, only need the adaptor cable male female cable. When it starts temp will be higher but give 5-10' and will settle.
@@TheHobbyistMinerEverytime you turn it off and start again check if the DG1 is reading the fan speed or it will run at 100%. Probably because of the capacitors in the PSU the Njord don't reset on short power cuts, turn it off wait 5-10' and it will read speed again.
if that is the case i would blame the sizing of the filter allways oversize when it comes to filters. they plug up over times and you might need more capacity never choose what fits the m/3 from the producers if a filter i blocking the fan, the fan also needs to work harder so they use more power and last shorter time
you can get cone filters and box filters, these just eat dust if they are not use.. its also like using a normal filter carbon and not a inline, you cant move the filter around. you are creating a 6 foot machine 1 filter should take care of all those machine´s, nothing else makes sense you are just adding work and cost the reason you would use that shape of carbon filter is to remove heat from the top of the room from a wide surface or else a inline or a box makes more sense
Great Questions. They do muffle the noise of the Inline fans a tad. Nothing Crazy. Maybe a good test if i isolated the miner. As for the dirty filter, that is a good test!
@@TheHobbyistMinerand if there is a power difference with the dirty filter, clean the filter and retest to see if goes back to near the new filters power consumption
You could still put a AC Infinity muffler on the inlet before the filter, but that would be making it really long... You would definitely need more support for that. Also, im wondering if the filters are washable or at least perhaps lightly water sprayable?
Nice filters from an American Company! Good to see quality products made right here in the USA!
KS2 isn’t a great test because it only pulls 1200w stock and is not difficult to keep in check. Should have tested it on a 3200w+ asic
I've been waiting on a good product like this, I just got 15 of them! ;-)
I have my fans setup to pull and exhausting the heat from mine. And now my asic runs 5 degrees cooler during the day

Waiting for the Adapter Cables to arrive, just ordered them.

i thought u was gonna check the fans from the used one to compare as well...
Thx man
Amazing 🤙bruhda
Great job Brother!
If my hawk eyes are not failing me, the exhaust temps were bumped up 1-2 degrees by adding the filters?

Need some lessons from RPM for unboxing😅😂
Nice one 🔥✌

미국은 12t 한달에전기세 어느정도 나오나요 ?
1. Did these muffle any noise?
2.can you put the dirty filter on the same Asic and see how much your power is affected?
Neat stuff!

I use a waste paper basket with ladys tights over them works fine and cheap
yeah how long is that 5 feet lol
It's not how big it is, it's how well it does the job ;)
Firssssttt!
