I'm battling the same thing, and came up with a similar design but haven't built it yet. Did this work?

Yes. In 8 months of cuddeback pictures, only one coon pic and he was probably the alpha coon. It’s worth it

I'll bet they coon-hug their way up unless that PVC is slick, but they have hands not paws.

I trap them with Dog Proof Traps....works best
