  • Kwek Kwek and Tokneneng Recipe
That colorful egg sold everywhere in the Philippines, it was vlogged by
Mark Wiens of Migrationology and the best food review ever. The
secret behind it is the batter that makes it attractive to the buyers
who needs to quickly fill their tummies with the accompanying sagot
gulaman as well as the sauce which has different varieties.
    Ingredients
    quails egg
    duck egg
    1 tsp annatto powder
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 cup flour
    salt & pepper
    garlic powder
    3/4 cups water
    Sauce
    1 cup vinegar
    6 tbsp soy sauce
    1 medium onion
I hope you enjoy watching and cooking this KWEK KWEK and TOKNENENG

Kwek Kwek here in the US for 3 piece is about $1.25, thank you for sharing your recipe. Now I could make my own kwek Kwek and tok neneng.

Rhyza Rodriguez may alternative para sa baking powder. Mix ¼ teaspoon baking soda with ½ teaspoon tartar cream.
