No, this is not a joke. I know this is kind of surprising news and I tried to hint you at the end of last episode (I hope it worked). What should I say, I lost the world in probably the most stupid way possible 😅 It is what it is. Season 3 starting next week!

As far as I know, your computer doesn't actually fully delete the files even if you clear the recycle bin. It can't just turn the data into void. In order to get rid of the data it has to replace it with other data, so all the stuff you "delete" is actually stored in the so called File Allocation Table until it's replaced by other "deleted" data.
Using a FAT recovery programe you might still have a chance to recover your old save.

you can definitely recover your world, i did it the other day, yes even when you cleared the recycle bin, the easy way, go to your saves folder, right click, click properties and go to previous versions, if you for some reason had that disabled, you have to do a semi complicated way, of using a program like recuva, i only call it complicated because its not built into windows but its actually pretty simple once youre in the application.
But he has already started s3
The world was truly amazing and we will all miss it.

It truly was an amazing world with so many amazing and aesthetically pleasing builds we will miss it but we know everything will be ten time better and more creative than the last world!
Dude I feel your pain in my 600 day hardcore world legit the same thing happened because my laptop couldn’t run all of the backups but I accidentally deleted the original folder itself

Hey! I am sorry for you, that you lost this amazing world. But you could still try to recover the file.
There are multiple options.
First what I know are File Recovery Softwares. They look for the last permanently deleted files, and store them for a while. Only after a week or something like that (every software has their own time maximum) the files get really deleted.
Secondly you could try to restore the last backups your PC has made. Just restore the matching backup of that date or one day before and you should have all your old backup files of your world.
Sometimes you could also try to go to your folder where the backups where stored. Then right click on the empty space and click on: “restore previous versions”. I don’t know if this also works for permanently deleted files, but it is worth a try, especially for your great Hardcore World.
Hope these Tipps will maybe help! If not Season 3 will surely be as amazing as Season 2. Good luck and keep going!

Season 1: Updating the world and getting it corrupted
Season 2: Deleting the backup

I was very hyped with Ocean Monument project but now all gone :( Really sad about the all the projects, buildings take hours for you and with one mistake all gone. Next time throw your backups and flash drivers too. Maybe create thousands of them lol but seeing you at new season with another amazing projects will be so cool. 🙃

Oh my God im so sad. this whas one of my favourite minecraft series. im rellay sorry for your lost you spent so many hours in your morld and you made a ton of beautiful and useful builds. Otherwise, i can't wait for the season 3!
P.S. you should buy an external Hard disk where you put the backups. It doesn't cost so much, but it has a really big memory.
this hardcore world is one of the most legendary ones i have seen grow since the start! it is devastating to see such an amazing world get deleted whilst organizing files. season 3 is going to be a banger!

For the next season make the world in 1.14
Then get god armor as soon as possible then upgrade to 1.19.
God armor is super op. You can swim in lava with elytra.
Also make two version one with thorns and one without thorns.
Edit: also make super op farms not basic ones, like everyone is doing.
Edit 2 : how about going with a specific seed. Maybe one with quad witch huts or something.
The point of making a world special is that u don't know what's in store if he used a set seed he knows what is prob going to happen

I think you should try and export the backup files some youtubers try to give the world downloads for the people to play on it you can try that every 1000 days you play on a hardcore world so your progress is saved on a different website and not just on your computer.

Sad way of loosing such an incredible world BUT!! When you play hardcore you expect for it to eventually end and this was an incredible season and I'm so looking forward to season 3. Just a tip, keeping backups on the same drive is a big no no. If you play on windows, pay for onedrive and move ur saves over to there, or optionally play hardcore on a whitelisted server with just yourself whitelisted and setup automated backups, most hosts have reliable backup systems. I'd be more than happy to host it for a fee :)

The best way to recover a world is to search for a file restorer. The only problem is that every file is disorganized, I kinda restored and loaded a world, but because I don't know where each file goes... well, the world corrupted
that's just sad man, I feel really bad that the world is going like that, waiting for season 3
You can use tools to recover deleted files. Might not work or cause some issues but worth a try? Works even if you cleared recycle bin.

Hey you can get ur world back by right clicking in the folder where you have the world and click on properties then go on previous versions tab and then restroe it by selecting latest golder icon given....

Get a cloud storage and store your worlds their next time so you always have back ups file them in to seasons so you can pick what and where

Try to use file recovery method with some software. You can maybe recover some backups.

Hey potato, there are softwares that can give you back file that was even deleted in bin, try one for your world back :)

you can recover deleted data because its not deleted from the hard drive but only from the index, so the file is technically still there until new data is stored at that location.

You can retrieve those all deleted backup worlds go to nearest computer shop and ask them to retrive the data and it works
You could try contacting windows support and ask then if there is a way to go back to a specific date to restore it
I am on Mac it happend to me but I have quick time player for that
So it may work
