Yall really need to watch some docs about the Amish, they are known to beat their kids and they blame SA victums to the point there was a brother who out right said he did it, but had like 3 or 4 greyhound buses of amish coming to support him and not his sister, and escaping amish shows the abuse the kids have to go through..not all of them, but a hella lot more then you would think. There is a reason they keep to themselves..

There is something VERY wrong with not teaching your children NOT to rape eachother. Not teaching or explaining anything about sex & not teaching that rape & incest is BAD. They completely ignore the fact that sex exists and don't teach their kids anything good, bad or in-between. The boys don't know about their urges and what is proper or improper to do. That raping their 6 year old little sister is bad and if a girl says no, stop or it hurts they should stop. Girls don't learn any of those things either. They don't teach girls what rape is so they don't know when it happens to them. And if they do somehow feel or figure out it is wrong they are shut up, forced to forgive their abuser and forced to keep living with their abuser weather it be their cousin, uncle, brother, dad, or husband Amish girls, & women are the one in the wrong if they get abused in anyway by anyone and they decide to press charges or if they want a divorce the husband is forgiven by the community and the wife is expected to do so and stay with him. There are some horrible cases of the Amish doing this.

I was taught all those things, as well as things considered masculine, being an only child. Since my parents were born in the 1920s and on farms, all of these things seem normal to me. I've visited an Amish community in PA, and all of those things seemed normal to me, even the language. However, I've never seen a Black Amish.

I remember when I was a kid going to “The Amish Country” with my Girl Scout troop. I seriously thought we were there for the cheese and I couldn’t see anything different about what they were doing and why we were there because I grew up surrounded by Amish and Mennonite families living next to me and my grandparents were really poor had a lot of the same lifestyle so I never thought anything of it. Grandma had to go out to the well and pump water to boil for my bath so I just assumed we went there for the cheese factory. And I didn’t even know that my neighbors were Amish and Mennonite until I was way into adulthood and now a lot of things make more sense. So yeah I learned a lot of the same skills and thought everyone could do those things and learned them too.

I lived in a town that was mostly Amish. When a man got married he grew a beard. The homes had the white curtains draped to one side. The boys and girls, at 16,went out to the “world” I can’t remember the word, something like brunshelder? Where they could decide if they wanted to become “yankee” or stay Amish. Back then, they didn’t want their picture taken because it could take the soul away. The community helped raise a home or helped growing crops, etc.

They are incredibly capable, don’t have a lazy bone in their bodies. They start teaching their children immediately. Have u ever seen a young Amish boy, about 12 or so direct an 8 mule team? They do. They raise incredible crops, their produce is second to none. They can make their own clothing, plough a field, feed their animals, ride a horse with proficiency, and also drive their buggies.
They are excellent carpenters, build their own homes in a quarter amount of time it takes the “pros”. A couple of 9 year old Amish kids selling fresh fruit, flowers, corn, can do their math in their heads, no need to write it down. They run their own schools, their children do not attend government propaganda schools. Nobody is deliberately confusing them about their sexuality. They can take care of themselves by the age of 15. A lot of young people these days can’t take care of themselves EVER.

Okay, but don't be surprised if you see them beating their wives and daughters' bloody or their children. Because they are known to do that. Oh, plus they abuse their animals and starve them to the point of death sometimes. They also don't allow their wives any say at all in anything. She doesn't get a say in being pregnant because her husband will beat her if she says she needs a break so her body can fully recover from all of the children she has had. She is to fully still do all of her chores no matter how hard the pregnancy is/was. She doesn't get to rest even after giving birth. She is to get up and go back to her chores right after.I grew up around the Amish, and I know they do these things.

We are going to an Amish wedding May 30th. They allow the "English" for an hour of the wedding and we have to stand in this one area. The answer to the question is No! They only marry within their own. And no there is no inter marrying of family members. There is strict rules of in breading. If you heard that an Amish married someone non Amish it is because they left the community on herumspringen or in English translation rumspringa and choose not to be Amish. So they stayed in the world and did not choose to acknowledge after coming back after rumspringa. Rumspringa is similar to baptism in a sense. They have the chance to experience the world and choose do they want to be apart of the world or choose to be Amish. They are not Amish until they make that choice at the age of accountability. Hence the purpose of rumspringa .

It does most Amish marry within the family, first cousin and the like. What this video doesn't show is the beatings or sexual abuse that can happen in Amish households, where fathers, uncles, and brothers r*p* the girls. I knew an Amish family where this happened, and the women were told that if they talked, they would be beaten for it. But one night, one of the boys went out drinking, and a county cop was stopped at a stop sign and overheard his conservation about what him, his father, and uncle did to his 12 year old sister. They got arrested and are behind bars right now for it.

Unless the parents stay in the bedroom with them they can't be 💯 percent sure that they still didn't have intimate relationship in the bedroom,

    • @helgardhossain9038
      @helgardhossain9038 21 день тому

No, they are not PLANNED to have an intimate relationship during the "courting period" ... however they know so little about intimate relationships and boundaries that it's quite common that young girls get molested by the suitor ... when a pregnancy ensures from the rape the girls are married off quickly (frequently to the rapist) or an aunt/uncle takes in the illegitimate child ...
All bad deeds are forgiven to Amish men in general once they have apologised to their community at Sunday church.
But rape is not a big thing amongst Amish - every time the girl entices the man. That's common knowledge, isn't it ?

Men are still men. They reach their sexual peak at 17. So we are to believe they don’t think about a woman in a sexual ways. I read where they obey their parents. Put a man and a woman together, in the same bed with a divider, my question is why? In the Lord’s Prayer…and don’t let us be led in temptation…It seems by doing this, they are led into temptation. Remember also …deliver us from temptation.

Who cares about cell phones? Im generation X, I had one earlier than people my age. It was for safety, not pleasure. I have 2 numbers now and a part of me dies every notification or call I get.
The computer (real one, not a laptop) is where it's at!
I had to leave my family compound to train for work. I cried the 1st flight thinking, "wow, you might really have to not live in Tx". I usually lived 5-8hrs away from home in state anyway. I got over it.

The tradition of getting to know each other before sleeping with each other, I respect! In a fast paced world where everything is always just surface value, sex becomes meaningless. In a time where porn is accessible to everyone the value and excitement becomes numb. I’m a married man of 18 years and I understand there’s more to a relationship than sex. Don’t get me wrong I throughly enjoy hanging sex with my wife. I just understand and appreciate the stance on building a proper relationship before getting physical. I crave wholesome things and this is something everyone who wants to get serious with another person should consider. Then remain faithful to that person. Too many marriages fail because the couple doesn’t properly know and understand each other.

So our forefathers the puritans were a cult too? Trace the Amish lineage back to Swiss alps. They took enough of being subjected to harsh treatment. When the Americas were found they left that area for a better life and came to the states. Anabaptist Mennonite. Some Mennonites wanted more freedoms others wanted things as they are of even more so conservative. Hence the Amish! So no, they are not a cult. Just different judao Christian beliefs in God and family.

Actually, they can be classified as a cult. For no individual as any rights but for the men and even they must answer to the elders before they do anything at all. Oh, and women have no rights at all. She does what the male family members say or she gets beaten. She can't have any outside help even if her pregnancy goes wrong, only other women within her family or the community for help.

What you don't mention is that a woman health doesn't matter at all in Amish communities because I know of one Amish family that was excommunicated because he chose for his wife to be fixed so she could grow old with him instead of her bleeding to death from no rest between pregnancies. Since their last child torn her uterus up and the vaginal canal. But the community leaders told him that was wrong.
