I love when you say "Time for me to have a drink and for you to have a think". As soon as I hear that, I have a drink, play some tennis, then have a think and then find out my think was exactly your think....
Just started my nightshift weekend so your updates are great for me. I spotted the attacking idea. Saw also the defensive idea, rejected it because it was so ugly. Thanks Daniel.
That's really great contest maybe over confident Prag with some opening errors tackled the situation,Arjun lost an opportunity but at this level it's Indian team effort with every player played a life time WAR❤
Thank you for the coverage. It's been a great event. Good luck to team USA, they're gonna need it. I'll be surprised if they can beat India; despite their impressive lineup. I look forward to the review of the games.
Uzbekistan seems like the new Armenia of Olympiad teams. Although it has about 12 times the population of Armenia, it is still dwarfed by other favorites like China, India, and the US.
Kind of shocking that Ergaisi didn't spot Bxf7. Are there some lines that may have led him to believe it didn't work or was he low on time? I simply have a hard time imagining that he didn't consider it, since it looks so obvious.
Hi Mr.King, I know that you focus on the chess and stay away from any of the drama that has pretty much become a constant in the chess world these days (and I love that). But I'd love to hear your thoughts on Kramnik's recent crusades and him most recently "accusing" the Chessbase India team and the Indian team of violating FIDE rules.
I agree with you. But I simply don't have the time to cover both tournaments properly. I don't just knock out these videos, they take considerable planning, analysis, and recording - and that's before the editor starts his work.

Fantastic coverage of the event. The best on youtube by far.
@@rhysgriffiths9675 Totally agreed as stated more than 2 years ago ...

Thank you!
Fantastic analysis as always Danny, thanks so much for covering everything in detail. 💛
I find it rather remarkable that the Indian open team hasn't lost a single game.

So, what is the idea !¡ … that’s clearly a new t-shirt for Mr. King ! … is a “key move” commentary that Wisdon Mr King use and WIN … THANKS

LOL No one was tapping Erigaisi on the shoulder telling him 'This is the moment!'
@@PowerPlayChess I guess that's the power of hindsight haha. And I'm not a strong player, so it's hard to imagine what the greats see and don't :)
He was under time pressure with less than 3-5 mins on the clock that's what makes it hard to spot the next queen move

I comment reluctantly as I am sitting on the outside and I am therefore ill-informed.
You''re covering the Olympiad but I was looking forward to Carlsen v Fedoseev! What happened?
How do you mean, exactly? Why didn’t I cover it?
Not enough coverage of the women's tournament! They are not an afterthought!!
