I was thinking the same thing. He needed to use the re-spin button to get the smooth consistency.

If you try different spots in your freezer the difference in temperature regulates the texture. Ninja has a recommended temperature in the manual for optimal results. If your freezer is too cold they suggest leaving the container out before you spin so it melts a bit and creates liquid to help make a smoother consistency. I also put mine in the microwave for 20 seconds if I don't want to wait. I love mine. Best purchase ever!

Just doing a "re-spin" run after the first one will be enough to soften it up.

Thank-you for doing this demo. Just what I needed! Otherwise would have returned the Ninja ice cream maker for fear of breaking it with trying other fruit than what they suggested in their recipe book (no mango recipe included btw).

If you take your mix out of the freezer 10 minutes before you spin, it will be really creami instead of crumbly.

what does mixing out of the freezer means? If it's frozen how can you do anything to it?

Looks like it needs a couple of re spins. im about to buy me one for about $40 a month. hopefully i like it. im buying it, because the pinapple sorbet, etc. looks tasty. i have eaten softserve from pure fruit before. using the swirlio. which is a pain in the ass to use. to get it the right consitsnancy. sometimes it was tasty. this ninja crami. from watching videos. it makes pure fruit so smooth. so i imagine that its going to be so good and like with the swirlio i will probebly haft to add a little sugar ti the fruit and i heard that with tjis machine, its like soft serve. i want to put regular store ice crean in it and put it in the milkshake mode. i heard that its like a mcflurry. doing itlike that. i will see and im not buying it just to make regular old ice cream with milk. i can do that with my regular ice cream maker.
