Just an update for those who have been asking. Yes there are still matches on Ps4/Ps5. I’ve been playing it abit on my ps5 and I find a match almost instantly.
Modern Warfare Remastered is the only CoD I'm playing. I've officially became an old school gamer. I'm done with all this modern day garbage.

@harold6953 well I mean sure, but why play that when I'm able to play the same thing on updated graphics. I don't see anything wrong with that. Also old school really depends on what you think truly is old school.
@@LordSterben exactly, just wanted to be here before the actual nerds give you that line lol. I remember people were shitting on mwr for having lootboxes and new weapons but honestly I don't see why they were bitching, we got new content for a remaster that was only supposed to be a sales booster for Infinite Warfare. Not sure if it's just me but one thing about mwr that does bother me a bit is that the movement feels slower than cod 4, it's likely the same speed but it feels slower and it's bugging me
I been play MW2 its kinda good with all the weapons you can get, but I wish I could play this on PC. COD4 was my game back in the day.
@@harold6953the game went from a potential 10 to a 7 at best because they patched all the bounces and jumps. It was fun for a little while I guess.
They remastered it perfectly. It’s literally OG cod4 with much better graphics and frame rate. Idk why activision couldn’t have don’t *exactly* this with mw2

Spent so much time on this game bro. It came out sophomore year for me and since then life has changed so much. 2016 compared to 2023 is disturbing lol. Time wise and life wise.

@@SOCOMJOHN I was lucky to have a brother and a pops who were well invested into the console era so I was able to play the original along with other classics like Medal of Honor
2016, just moved abroad to Germany, broke student, had to trade GTA for this game (best decision), spent a whole year everynight sfter studying playing this one. Now im married have a kid and a full time job with barely time to play🥲
People try to brush over how 2020 the entire globe shutdown and act like shit never happened these days
It's too bad the Call of Duty community has always been like, "gotta play the latest cod even if it's shit!!". Older CODs are by far the best. They would be going strong if people actually logged in and played. At least I have other old games with a community still like Diablo 2 and Classic WoW.
This game is so much fun, and it still feels like people play it like classic CoD. No SBMM is so nice to just hop on and have fun.
I literally just played it yesterday. It’s so much fun compared to the new MW3 game, which is gargabge.
That’s why I’m getting it soon
It will be my first cod (can’t wait)
I’m so glad this game’s heart is still beating. I loved the original CoD4. I was kinda bummed when most of my friends were not interested in this remaster.

@@Darko203 only 2 of them played during those days but they no longer game. The others hopped on CoD during MW2.

In my opinion this remasterd was great they took the game without killing its idea with slightly more stuff in it like more camos . Having the ability to play with bots offline and supply drop weapons are not that big of a deal unlike bo3 . right now I'm playing it and having a great time . also Nice gameplay 👍

Activision needs too get their heads outta each other's asses and go back too the roots and keep it 💯 like they use too. They want us too buy the newer games than quit doing BRs and focus on multiplayer and campaign again its that easy.

They done released this at the wrong time. It seems to be a common occurrence for the COD franchise. Same thing with bo2.

I can't find any games in Australia. No matter the day or time, there's no one playing this in Australia, and it makes me so damn sad
just bought this on black friday sale for xbox. installing and hopefully I can find matches. If not, at least the campaign is very good

@@505PRE Not very good and I was disappointed with the graphics. I got into a few games but had to wait. I played sometime around 11 in the evening in Finland. I had this on ps4 pro and mp looked 10 times better with it. €20 was wasted

Going back too this game in a bit once it's downloaded, can't stand the new bs it all sucks horribly. I want fast paced adrenaline rush close quarters combat. And I'll get it with this.

This is the BEST GAME! I used to play up to 10 hours non stop!! My ps4 back then got overheated so it broke... I was like ranked like the 200 place in S&D in the whole world!! BEST GAMEE!! Brings back memories

When I play this game on my Series X and 86 inch TV it’s just a huge blurry mess. Yours looks very nice I don’t understand why mine is so blurry 😢
sorry for late reply but probably cause mwr runs at 1080p then your xbox series x upscales it to 4k which makes it look blurry.

Young kids coming home to play remastered, I was playing the original and world at war at the time. COD really peaked then, it’s been awful since 2011.

My favorite cod ever since the ps4 came out I still play mwr ,it’s so much fun there’s no sbmm there was like 16 matches on last weekend, there is such a strong community on mwr the only thing I wish is I wish people would stop camping

Damn I miss this game so much. Probably racked up over 5k hours. Played on PC and was pretty sure they didn't have prestige added at all. Had golden guns for everything except the shotguns. Stopped playing when they took the master servers down and the servers I was a regular on disappeared. I hear it's mostly dead in the states, but still kicking in Europe.
I play MWR on PC and i always find laods of games.
Steam charts says the game have only actively about 20-30 people playing the multiplayer. It had about the same numbers when I bought the game on pc about 4-5 years ago and I could never find a game or at not a full match

Nobody on PC because it is the worst console port known to mankind. The code is full of xbox references and its bugged, crashing and stuttering.

Yes, but you’ll only find lobbies on Team death match / HC Team Death match.
Mwr for me is the most definitive old school cod multiplayer i love it

Hey, great video dude. Genuinely good and enjoyable commentary. Only thing is, people might not watch the whole thing because its long, so you might want to decrease the video length for the algorithm's sake. I eventually did watch it fully, but in multiple sittings.

It’s playable but the multiplayer player base is really low there a discord to find other people to play with. That’s all I know. I played it on Xbox one so yeah
