Georgia has added more speed to their roster at WR position. This might be the most speediest WR group UGA has ever had. I think what makes this group more special than the 2021 team is they have some transfers who have translated well at their former schools. Colbie Young who was great at Miami made huge impact last season.. London Humphries who has really high end speed is basically another Ladd McConkey. We saw Dom Lovett and Rara Thomas come in and make some noise so we could see some big game action from these transfers. I do give Ohio St the nod at WR. But UGA WR group is gonna be really solid.

As a Buckeye fan I have the most respect for UGA, we are built very similar and have been for several years now. The playoff game in 2022 was really a classic it had a blowout building, a come back, a potential game winner, it was 4 different games in 60 minutes it was fun. Can’t wait to run it back this year

Currently carson. But im tellin yall, dont sleep on Howard. When he has any combo of osu wr and those 2 backs on the field. Hes going to have some sweet numbers. That backfield is going to make the O line look night and day better too
I agree with that, if chip and day can run something similar to what chip ran with DTR at UCLA with osu’s weapons I think Howard can have a ton of success. It probably won’t look the same as stroud or fields but I think osu should be better than they were last year on offense if they can pivot to something that fits Howard better cuz Howard is a good playmaker at QB and can handle the ball well in a read option run game based on his time at KSU

Kayden McDonald. Jason Moore. Hero kenu. Kenyatta Jackson. That’s out 2 deep for n the d line. We are stacked
D line is as good as we have seen at osu in a long time. Probably can say the same about the secondary. I think QB and right side of the OL are what it will come down for at osu this year

When it comes to speed Georgia recivers out do they corners period so one on one match ups Georgia receivers winning that match up hands down

Not a fan of either just a pure college fan....but to me Georgia has the best roster from a depth stand point it wont be a drop off at all they play about 30 players on defense alone there wont be superstar stats at georgia which it never has kirby philosphy has always been play alot of players and thats why when they have injury they can sustain....now ohio state has the big names and im interested to see how that all comes together i do have questions about quarterback not as much as everyone else, im more concerned with the offensive line they werent good last year and from what i saw in spring it may not get better....but these are 2 loaded teams
I think this is an excellent point, and something not a lot of people talk about enough. Georiga has had top end talent but what I feel like has set them apart the past couple years is the depth, specifically along the lines of scrimmage. Its not secret why they play their best football late in the year. 100 percent agree with this take.
No, Ohio State has put more in players into the nfl than anyone. Our roster is better than Georgias
Think OSU’s depth is better than you give it credit for. Specifically at DLine, Secondary, WR, and RB. A potential matchup probably comes down to OSU’s OLine and QB. Could be another instant classic like the 2022 playoff game.

OSU has 2 NFL corners that are 2nd round draft picks at worse. Their 2 backup CB's will also be NFL players when they leave next year. And they have the best safety in college football. This is the best secondary at Ohio State since 2016 when they had Marshon Lattimore, Gareon Conley & Denzel Ward at CB and Malik Hooker as a safety.

Appreciate that. Nothing against Caleb downs, he’s as good as they come. Both very complete players, and it will be interesting to see how downs develops this year. Starks has been dominant for two straight years now

Downs is ridiculous and has been since elementary school. You're going to see why Kirby was begging him to come to UGA
Watching highlights of that mill creek Buford game in Downs’s senior year seems like the coolest high school football environment ever. Also was very obvious downs was a little different out there as athlete

It's why so many UGA, OSU, ALA, etc. guys are out of the league in 3 years, whereas guys drafted from lesser programs stick. They're more challenged & have to play individually better.
Besides CJ Stroud(1yr) name one OSU QB in the past 15 yrs that made it in the NFL(Fields is on his way out).
Since Stafford in 2009, 15yrs ago, name a UGA QB that's made it in the NFL?
Every one of their QBs gets drafted & they're all busts. Why? Because they're mid qbs, & were mid in college but put up huge numbers b/c in 90% of the games they played in their team was so much better then who they played against that their numbers are inflated.
Same thing with Beck. Watch him play. ALA, GT, MIZ, S.CAR, even Vandy Shut him down last year.
Beck is not the best QB LMAO. Gabriel is better, Ward is better, Cook is better, etc.

Best QB in college football might be as debatable a topic heading into 2024 as it’s ever been. Doesn’t feel like there is a stroud, young or Caleb Williams type guy who’s proven to be head and shoulders better than the field beyond a shadow of a doubt at this point. Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.
