Roy Keane is correct the man City's goal keeper should have been dominating the box for arsenal's 2nd goal. The box is his domain he should have been incharge of the area and the players who are in that space his team mates and the opposition.
💯agree his analysis of the whole game is on point His comment about managers always complaining about refs was my highlight. these guys need to show a bit of character show up for every challenge and stop complaining
Liverpool fan here - unfair red card. Deffo changed the game and Arsenal might have got 3 pts with 11 men. Arsenal need to suck it up and win their next game against city
Keane can’t find a good word to say for an incredible performance from Arsenal because Arsenal was the only team that could equally whoop Manchester United in the late 90s early 00s. Why on earth is he on this panel in the first place. Even Micah and ex city player can give Arsenal credit.
Keane actually believes his own ego. He was known for smashing players and being a tough lad not footballing ability. Arteta talking about football to Keane would be like an astrophysicist talking to a space enthusiast
To be fair although I’m a arsenal fan and people may see it as bias we was watching a very good game of football that first half, one of the most entertaining football matches in the PL for a long time half the football fans in the UK was watching it not just specifically arsenal or Man City fans, that red card on trossard killed the game even though he did kick the ball for the sake of football and for all the viewers he should’ve got a warning from the ref instead of a red card, we would’ve seen a much better match in my opinion
That second half reminded me of the 2012 CL semi final of Barcelona Vs Chelsea after Terry was sent off. I’m a Chelsea fan so it’s a game that forever burnt in my memory. Also the same Pep Guardiola tactics we saw in this game. The only difference I would say is that Chelsea did at least try and keep Torres up in case of a break which paid off where Arsenal just totally tucked in and weren’t interested in having anything offensive. They paid the price ultimately
I agree with Roy.....there were times where we could have held on to the ball a little more even with 10 men and tried to create a few decent chance on the counter but we didn't. Too much times we kicked rhe ball out or rushed passes to Martinelli to get in behind.
I would take Roy's words with a pinch of salt. If we were playing any other team in the PL, that could be possible but against city. Not really. Especially when they can punish you for the slightest mistake. I think you are doing the boys a big disservice there.
@@theteachingguru8396 No I am not.....we were happy to defend. Not enough was done to counter them and we had Martinelli who has pace on the field. If we try to go for that 3rd goal City lose the game.
@@jordandavis3867 let's just agree to disagree. I'm not as fit as the athletes but used to play football back in school. We played in the second division of the town and when we faced a tough tough opposition, we were just parked in our half. The amount of pain you get in your lungs from tracking back and then defending and then trying to run and hit on the counter is not normal, just no time to catch your breath. I'm sure professionals have better lungs than us but its still asking a lot to never stop running, especially players like martinelli who use a lot of pace meaning using more oxygen and not having time to replenish it again with a break because he's back trying to defend again.
People say Pep is good, but the 2nd half against 10 men was so poor. As Mers said, there was ZERO overlap and ZERO runs on the outside until the goal. Passing the ball the ball from side-to-side at the edge of the box was useless. You need defenders running towards the goal. Every team should set up this way against City. They'd draw everytime. Poor poor 2nd half.
@@frankdarlington354 playing the ball from side to side and shooting from the edge of the box will get you the same result. City was just recycling the ball over and over with no penetration. That moment needed the wingers and full backs to stretch Arsenal's defense, creating space in the middle. That wasn't happening. It happened once and resulted in a goal. It's how Real set up against City last year's CL quarterfinals in Manchester. Inter did it in the CL finals the previous year. It took something special from Rodri to win it. Arsenal did it twice last season and got 4 points. Do you need anymore examples? Park at the edge of the box and City stagnates. They'll just pass the ball in front of you.
@@realife1542 I think you miss the point. City have a hard time breaking down teams that just sit deep and defend, because they (City) simply just pass the ball side to side in front of the defense. Arsenal did it perfectly Sunday. These teams that sit deep do not care about the ball or creating chances. They get chances on the counter.
“A little bit more..” Why Keano? Arsenal are winning the game. Why attack and open up the game? Why are you picking on a strategy that worked, well nearly. The reason it worked isn’t because City were good, but because Spurs (biggest rival) away, Atalanta (Euro League Champions) away, City (PL champs) away takes a toll.
Thank you Sky for uploading these videos. As a football fan in Hong Kong, I love to learn from pundits who have previously played at the highiest level about football!

I think AI should be integrated into referee decision making. By analysing data ( videos, clips, pictures, movements, player speeds, collision index) in previous cases then giving advices on the call, so that the decision is consistent and transparent. It would be better if information is visible on Var and audience screens.
Paul Merson, I do believe he gets the respect, his goa; scoring is phenomenal, The joining in the game criticism is unfounded as maybe his manager wants him to play this way. However I do agree with Keane his all round game as in passing touches could definitely be better
For years, clubs like Stoke, Burnley, Birmingham bullied our players, broke our player's legs & we were termed as soft & told to man up. Today we have become physical, everyone is crying. On top of it rivals and pundits call our team and fans annoying for pointing the bias out
This spcit fixture reminded me of the prem 20 years back and the rivalrys and occasions.. rival clubs all hug pre game and exchange shirts at halftime these days
Guys your analysis is spot on but let’s not forget that they’re not machine they are human beings and you know they didn’t have that much time to analyse the situation that you have had at the studio this is football
Keane really hates Arsenal lol. Applause for Micah an Ex city player and he is the one to point out the inconsistency with the Doku kick away and Rice before and Trossard today.
There were a lot of controversial incidents and moments in this match. The lack of a win on either side raised tensions. Exceptional play from both teams.
You're extremely thick. Rodri is way better than both in that position. When Rodri doesn't play City become vulnerable. When Rodri plays they're close to unbeatable.
25:32 this is the reason Roy Keane was as good as he was and is who he is. Spoke facts. Arteta for all his effort which was a monumental one and I wouldn’t ask for any other manager rn, he doesn’t have the experience to act come out and say ‘ Yh. We made it hard for ourselves trossard and rest of the squad will learn to be more street wise and then Big up his team for what and how they just grinded a result like that in those circumstances’ Just like Roy Keane is saying. It’s called harsh brutal honest self reflection. Which steps up your game . It’s what winners do. No excuses
It’s also the reason to why Roy Keane is a failed manager, he has failed everywhere. Arteta has already won a FA Cup and has turned Arsenal into a really good team.

Wanted to see another side to Arsenal but didn’t quite see it today 🤣😭 Ten men for the whole second half and come un stuck last kick of game talking out your bum
I salute arsenal and I love the way they play under arteta. But trossard could’ve been given a yellow for either a shove of Bruno or kicking the ball. The kicking of the ball was kinda right after the whistle, so he may have been in motion to kick but the shove deserved its own yellow most definitely
That free kick is only an issue because it results in a goal. Usually players are removed from the field and the game continues. Kyle walker was already on the pitch, why delay then. The goal was very ok
The biggest blunder Arsenal made in the dying moments is allowed a corner to be short passed, a player should have run out to him and prevented that and allowed him to squared the ball instead of playing a short pass to another ManCity teammate.
Have they changed the rules this year regarding blocking an opponent, it depends on how they feel is it? Subjective, what was the difference between Endo blocking at carabao final, and blocking Ederson, nothing, but different decisions, get your act together EPL
I am not complaining about the red card. I am complaining about the stopping time because the additional time is seven minutes, but the finishing time have gone up to 28 minutes. What is the reason of this nonsense?
City keeper were infringed by Martineli and Saliba when Gabriel score from the corner. This is a Arsenal tactics when each time a corner was awarded. Most of the goals score is they were blocked and infringed the keeper. Most times the keeper movement was blocked and knocked down.
They object to the ball in the back of the head but then complain about the needle that came out of it. All I'm asking for is consistency from former players . Just like the consistency they ask of refs.
Liverpool fan here, I hate that Arsenal are somehow getting insulted from nearly winning a game with 10 men away from home!!! Its ridiculous however I tend to agree with Kean here, even having the best defence while being 10 down, inviting the constant pressure isn't always the best idea. You can still maintain some sort of control by just being a bit more clever instead of survival mode all the time, you see this happen all the time with smaller clubs who use these tactics and then end up loosing, now Arsenal could have seen it off it really was just unlucky IMO but yeah I agree with Kean.

Roy Keane is correct the man City's goal keeper should have been dominating the box for arsenal's 2nd goal. The box is his domain he should have been incharge of the area and the players who are in that space his team mates and the opposition.
💯agree his analysis of the whole game is on point
His comment about managers always complaining about refs was my highlight. these guys need to show a bit of character show up for every challenge and stop complaining
CITY SELEBRATED A DRAW AGAINST TEN MEN AND CITY HAD AN EXTRA MAN CALLED OLIVER
selebrated lmao 🤣

Liverpool fan here - unfair red card. Deffo changed the game and Arsenal might have got 3 pts with 11 men. Arsenal need to suck it up and win their next game against city
It's a fair red card.. what you saying
A lot of this criticism from fans and pundits is they're fuming Arsenal are no longer the top 4 whipping boys.
Why do all these pundits look absolutely miserable here?
Keane can’t find a good word to say for an incredible performance from Arsenal because Arsenal was the only team that could equally whoop Manchester United in the late 90s early 00s. Why on earth is he on this panel in the first place. Even Micah and ex city player can give Arsenal credit.
@@EvO24 he’s still in paddy vieiras pocket
the best pundit on sky sports
Arsenal victim mentality first go win a trophy then you’re entitled to credit and respect
He’s right Arsenal always park the bus be city that’s a fact
According to BBC football Arsenal is the leader of delays for whole Priemere league teams either kicks from goal or free kicks
Roy Keane talking about being careful when on a yellow is ammazing considering how rude and crazy he was and how many people he has injured!
Keane actually believes his own ego. He was known for smashing players and being a tough lad not footballing ability. Arteta talking about football to Keane would be like an astrophysicist talking to a space enthusiast
It would be like a geologist talking to a ditch digger
Nonsense, Keane is one of the greatest Premier league midfielders, up there with Vieira
@@anthonyreen2189 can you tell me what enters your mind when roy keane is mentioned?
Keane dictated the pace of games in midfield, the hardest position to play on a football pitch. Impossible to do without good technical ability.
Keane is modest he was very good on the ball
To be fair although I’m a arsenal fan and people may see it as bias we was watching a very good game of football that first half, one of the most entertaining football matches in the PL for a long time half the football fans in the UK was watching it not just specifically arsenal or Man City fans, that red card on trossard killed the game even though he did kick the ball for the sake of football and for all the viewers he should’ve got a warning from the ref instead of a red card, we would’ve seen a much better match in my opinion
If you're going to give cards for kicking away the ball then apply it for everyone and don't let some people off and then ruin the game
Pls upload more full segments please!! Used to love when you did it regularly
Yea any other team should try setting up that way and we'll see😅.
City are the bets team in the world vs a low block, they will eventually break you down and you will create hardly any chances or see the ball
Ignore these pundits. They are praying for Arsenal's downfall.
I can’t stand listening to Keane, and yet I can’t stop listening to keane😂
Theo walcott looking like a fan who is just happy to be their 😂
The fact that the official sky sports UA-cam channel can’t play match highlights on this is a joke
Thank you Sky for uploading these videos. As a football fan in Hong Kong, I love to learn from pundits who have previously played at the highiest level about football!

dude cut the part of them showing recap. It looks so cheap wouldn't expect this from sky sports shame
Praising Haaland after that performance is disappointing to see from you all, especially considering his behavior in front of young fans. In my opinion, his conduct was unprofessional, acting like a spoiled child who reacts poorly when City struggles.
He told the truth !
As an Arsenal fan, i'm gutted we didn't get the win... however, I now know and belive that we can easily beat those City bums. We literally are the best team in the league, just need to show it boys! COYG🔴🔴⚪⚪
I think AI should be integrated into referee decision making. By analysing data ( videos, clips, pictures, movements, player speeds, collision index) in previous cases then giving advices on the call, so that the decision is consistent and transparent. It would be better if information is visible on Var and audience screens.
Roy is my guy👊🤣😂 his analysis is on point💯

Can anyone tell me why they have to freeze frame the highlights within videos like this? makes me think my PC is crashing haha
I’m sure if you took a wild guess you’d get it
Come on Blaney, you got this
Paul Merson, I do believe he gets the respect, his goa; scoring is phenomenal, The joining in the game criticism is unfounded as maybe his manager wants him to play this way. However I do agree with Keane his all round game as in passing touches could definitely be better
Low block is the new park the bus tactics
For years, clubs like Stoke, Burnley, Birmingham bullied our players, broke our player's legs & we were termed as soft & told to man up.
Today we have become physical, everyone is crying.
On top of it rivals and pundits call our team and fans annoying for pointing the bias out
Thank you for the long format
This spcit fixture reminded me of the prem 20 years back and the rivalrys and occasions.. rival clubs all hug pre game and exchange shirts at halftime these days
Micah a Arsenal fan at heart
Big Henry fan😂
Guys your analysis is spot on but let’s not forget that they’re not machine they are human beings and you know they didn’t have that much time to analyse the situation that you have had at the studio this is football
Micah Richards bang ON about common sense!
Walcot your wrong we came to win we don’t fear city 🙄 city fears us
Poor segment by Micah. Merson was spot on
I love the way Roy Keane is ❤❤❤. He and Viera was king of all kings of DM
We made it hard for ourselves trossard and rest of the squad will learn to be more street wise and then Big up his team for what and how they just grinded a result like that in those circumstances’
Just like Roy Keane is saying.
It’s called harsh brutal honest self reflection. Which steps up your game .
It’s what winners do. No excuses
It’s also the reason to why Roy Keane is a failed manager, he has failed everywhere. Arteta has already won a FA Cup and has turned Arsenal into a really good team.
@@cheeky1733 I’m highlighting the difference between a elite manager and a manager on the his come up. Which needs to be completed in this season or next at the latest.
Pep come out and made SURE his headlines were ‘ I admire my team. ‘
Artetas was - It’s obvious etc.
I rate arteta as my manager but it is what it is . Fax has to be said
@@cheeky1733 just because he failed as a manager it doesn't mean that he cannot make a very crystal-clear point about managers. I am a city fan and Pep did mention that no excuses, if Arsenal come with such a game the boys need to step up to the challenge because all the goals they conceded was from their silly sloppy mistakes as Roy pointed out.
One of the most frustrating things for Roy during his days was he couldn't get to Viera. He knows Viera is better than him.
Keane saying Micah is eaying loads if chocolate sent me 😂
That free kick is only an issue because it results in a goal. Usually players are removed from the field and the game continues. Kyle walker was already on the pitch, why delay then. The goal was very ok
Keane talking about accepting yellows and reds like he was an Angel and never disputed it in his day 😂
Arsenal should be praised for performing so well with 10 men against the best team in England and not criticized
This roy keane guy clearly has some personal bitterness against arsenal
Can’t understand why he’s on here. He’s too emotional
Why does the video freeze when they showing a recap
Keane criticizing Arsenal for not attacking City more when down to 10 men. He's clueless.
The biggest blunder Arsenal made in the dying moments is allowed a corner to be short passed, a player should have run out to him and prevented that and allowed him to squared the ball instead of playing a short pass to another ManCity teammate.
Micah Richards is more Arsenal than a Citizen 🎉. He is on point though.
Why doesn’t it show the goals?
Calafiori is special…
Gorgeous isn’t he
@@megaskyburst he looks like he can play anywhere on the pitch.
Roy Keane "Come with violence!" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
why can't sky play the reacps video instead of pics. Lame
For time wasting!!!
I beg your pardon, harvertz can score, calafiori can score.
Keane can never praise Haaland, and they will never become mates
Still makes me laugh they won’t show full replays 🤣
My guy Micah is deep down an arsenal fan tho.
He should come out of the closet and stop being an Arsenal undercover lover🤭
City keeper were infringed by Martineli and Saliba when Gabriel score from the corner. This is a Arsenal tactics when each time a corner was awarded. Most of the goals score is they were blocked and infringed the keeper. Most times the keeper movement was blocked and knocked down.
Next week. Arsenal will kick the ball away and then complain "other teams do it so we thought we could too. You're being unfair!"

They object to the ball in the back of the head but then complain about the needle that came out of it. All I'm asking for is consistency from former players . Just like the consistency they ask of refs.
Doku knocked the ball back to where the freekick was meant to be taken from
Roy is never impressed, its why we love him 😂
"Arsenal need to do more" ....they had 10 men....what should they have done? can't comprehend this comment
Its hilarious that they cant show highlights on these videos.
