I really like the pink undertones in the bronze shade - really pretty! I enjoyed this format, it was really helpful to see everything in the frame together! PS. I still don't have my palette *cries in Canadian shipping* :'(

Not going to lie, I never looked twice at DR1. Even having them laid out next to each other it's not the one that catches my eye. HOWEVER, I liked all the swatches in DR1 better than the others and I loveeee cool tones haha so this was super helpful!! But I actually think HD would be more unique in my collection ughhh hahaha I want both 😂
I totally get that. I picked up DR I as my second ever mothership but when I first tried it I wasn't super wowed and then when I did my PML ranking I realized that it was nearly the mothership I used the most because are so beautiful for everyday. HD and DR II are super unique but also wearable... its hard too cos once you get one you ended up wanting them all lol 💗

I received my Huetopian Dream today and she is gorgeous 😍.
It is my 8th Mothership and I disagree with anyone who says that HD is repetitive. All Motherships have the same composition but they all are different

@@MartinaLily me too 😍 I played around with my Huetopian yesterday, have you tried using Mehron liquid? I put the liquid on my center of my lids yesterday (after priming and layed down mattes shadows), then added the special shade, it didn’t really work as well as I wanted too. Any suggestion btw? Thank you so much for responding to my comments 😍
@@mizwonton7736 Oh yes! I was using the mehron liquid before I got Pats new stick. Its good but I find spraying my brush works really too and then if you're still not getting the pop after that just take a small amount on your finger and pop it on the lid and it should add the pop without any fallout 😊 Which special shade was it from Huetopian? And of course! thank you for commenting, I honestly love it thats why I started my channel 😊💗

Often I see comparisons by shades, but nobody says about general composition of shades, undertones and how shades in a palette suit each other.
Every Mothership has its unique highliter and gold shades, a bronze and a pop of colour which all together make a beautiful cohesive colourstory.
This was a good idea but would have liked to see a few other shades between DR2 and HD since they seem to have close to a 1 - 1 mapping: the dark mattes and the metallic nonspecial shades since both seem to have one brownish metallic and one lilac / pink metallic. Also the white special shade in each.

Great great video! I have the DR2, but recently fell in love with the Huetopian Dream (that lavender shade goshh!). I've been scouring the internet for comparisons, to find out whether purchasing the HD is worth it or just more of the similar.

The only thing I was also curious about is the purple in huetopian alongside the purple in midnight sun. I’m sure they’re quite different.
Oh yes! I was supposed to do that and forgot. I'm going to do a vid swatching all of the special shades in my pml palettes so ill show it in that one but yes they are super super different. The MS one is more metallic and deeper and the HD ones are more glittery and neon like 💗

I'm missing, Divine Rose 2, Bronze Seduction and Decadence. The OCD in me wants to finish off the collection but I'm still torn if I'll actually use shades from Divine Rose 2 😭

I have been searching for this comparison!! Idk why it took me so long to check UA-cam as Google Images seems to only want to offer Divine Rose 1&2 comparisons when in reality I think D.R.1 resemebles Huetopian Dream WAY MORE than D.R.2! I thought I wanted DR2 but then Huetopian dropped and as a lover of pinky brown midtone shades & duochromes I think I want Huetopian now? instead?....I wonder if I should sell my ltd ed Pink DR2 in lieu of buying Huetopian...I barely used it anyway. Isn't that always the case?
Oh I'm glad you found what you were looking for! I think if you are into the really really warm pinky brown tones and want the pops of purple HD is the way to go. I'm in a big cool tones phase so I don't reach for HD a whole at the moment nor DRII either to be honest. I love DRI one tho and use that so much. I guess if you're not using the DRII and don't want it your collection then its better than just sitting there 💗💗💗
HI, still watching your video. I just found you and subscribed, loving it so far. I do have a question. Do You own ND retro pallet, how do DR1 and ND Retro compare? Also I ordered the PM holiday pallet for the Black Friday sales, and accidentally ordered the DR2. tried to cancel it and they said just do a return on it. I didnt plan on purchasing a mothership pallet this year, but the more I watch videos on the holiday pallet with only 4 mats and I have similar colors in a couple pallets, I have discovered Sidney Grace this year and have purchased all the Temptalia pallets and a couple more. Anyways, I'm thinking of returning the holiday one.But youre video is making me question keeping DR2 though. Ive purchased most of the Natasha Denona midis this year, a couple minis and the Biba pallet is on the way. im a neutral, pink and bronzy lover mostly (with mature eyes) not sure if PM pallets are worth the money for me, plus Im NOT a You Tuber, not rich, and only have 2 eyes and 7 days in a week. WOW!!! I think I have a makeup problem cuz thats not even all ive purchased this year....lol

There is a bundle of these 3 palettes on the site on 30% off which is a great deal as it makes each palette almost half off but I feel that it all is the same colour family. Like you end up with some kind of pink undertone look....I'm debating on whether I should go for this or maybe actually slowly get a few to build the colour variety. I only have the bronze seduction which I absolutely love. Now I really want divine rose 2 and huetopian mostly for special shades but not so much divine rose 1 as its too basic. Any advice? X
Oh I saw that bundle it is a brilliant deal! Hmm it's hard cos each of the palettes are great quality and I recommend them. So I think it would just come down to what you like the most and think you will get the most use out of. For example I didn't love Divine Rose I the first month I got it but now its one of my all time faves of hers cos the special shades are so beautiful. I always recommend for people to go with the color scheme that they love the most 💗💗

@@SabzAhamedbeautyfyingbeauty Mmm they have similar vibes but they aren't the same. For example Divine Rose I is cool toned where HD and DRII is warm toned. I don't think DRI is like the other two at all really its more a muted cool purple-ish palette, then DRII is more pink and warm gold leaning and. HD is kind of different again. The closest two would be DRII and HD but even they are still different but there is an underlying theme between them all. i hope that helps 😊💗
