Some quotes I really like from this episode:
“You want to live a life of substance. Even in the simple things, love in gratitude.”
“You gotta be willing to do something you’ve never done to get something you’ve never had.”
“Am I setting myself up for success? We are constantly always in process.”
    “Let go and let God.”
“There is no such thing as good or bad, there is just you.”

I understood her. Completely. Every single thing she shared. Thank you Becky & Jay for this episode, for every single thing in your lives that it took to get you both here & for everything it must have taken for this episode to be made. Becky, you are a therapist's dream - not the dream of what any therapist can do but the dream of what a therapist can do to allow someone like you to do the work that only you deserve credit for. Why does it feel like this episode was made just for me.. ? If I were the only one to see this episode, it would have only mattered. Jay, thank you for your comments & sharing this, for all of your work. All of your episodes I have seen have felt crafted to & for my soul's needs, your work is continuing to be life-changing. I was able to cry tears that fed & nourished me instead of tears that confused me or led me to only doubts - thank you both. So much 👌🏼 I haven't had such a validating Monday morning in so long. I haven't perceived this kind of validation for myself in so long. I am better for what this episode was, every single second of it felt catered to & crafted for me & may my home be filled with the Beauty of this content. Thank you both.💘

    I really
Enjoyed this conversation. I was born in 🇲🇽 and immigrated to the 🇺🇸 when i was 3 years old with my mom. Society wants to place you in a box 📦 and compartmentalize you and label you as one thing to make sense if it self. Meanwhile you are struggling to figure out who you are . The answers is in this conversation. All of our truths can exist all at once. We can be an everything bagel 🥯 😊

Those who have been there, know it and see it. Wishing her nothing but the best in all avenues of her life. Such and inspiration and role model for people to look at, who keeps it real and feels like a friend.

This young woman has so much insight and is so articulate. She has learnt and is in the process of learning, lessons of life that oftentimes it takes a lifetime to realise. I believe that oftentimes when a person like her may be criticised or attempted to be held down; is always related unfortunately to jealousy and the other person’s own personal insecurities. Nice that she has the courage to allow herself to learn but more importantly, to shine! Thanks to Becky and Jay. Great interview. ❤

As a Mexican born and American, I totally get her point about being half and half.
    Half American, half Mexican.
I like to take back some power and define myself, as I see fit.
    Fitting to me.
I say that I'm a pocho, nacido mexicano, y estadounidense.
Some people say, that I was born Mexican and I will always be Mexican and nothing else, but Mexican.
    I say, not true.
    I'm Mexican and American.
I cannot disregard my complete life in the USA.
At the end, I say what I am. I don't need, no validation, nor approvals.
I have both passports, and travel as a Mexican, and as an American.
Soy orgullosamente mexicano, y hablo español.

Yes, I had asked on another podcast video what was the difference from prayer and meditation and after listening to this podcast, you answered my question. Thank you Jay! "Payer is you talking to God, and meditation is God talking to you, (David Lynch)" 😊 1:16:08

When they said "STOP PLEASING PEOPLE". I wanna know does it includes the people we love like our parents especially. Sometimes pleasing them takes much of our pleasure. 😐

Yes, "people pleasing" is when you are putting other people's needs too much in front of your own. Family can especially cross boundaries so we need to uphold ours when necessary :)

its so nice to hear her talk about her experiences with her familia. my mother was adopted from her home in colombia. she never knew her mother or her father.. and they took espanol away from her.. the only family ive ever had are my siblings and mother.... ive been close with aunts and uncles, maybe one point as a kid an aunt marina who was a mother to me. but now that im 20 i rly feel more alone.. not knowing my colombian family it breaks my heart so much.. i wish i could know my tias and uncles and neices and nephews and im learning spanish because i want to carry on my latin culture to my children. salsa dancing w my mom and sat mornings cleanings and praying to go is the most experience ive had. i want to learn more about colombia and my culture. esp for my mother as i know she does want to too.. this interview is truly the best.... getting wisdom from becky g
